April is National Poetry Month. I hereby challenge any man who reads this to write a poem for a woman he loves. Or fancies. Appreciates. Enjoys. Cherishes. RAVAGES. If you want to make her yours, write her a poem. If she's already yours, write her poetry on a fairly regular basis. Consider flowers, too. Oh, and dark chocolate. And kiss her, man. Like, REALLY kiss her. Passionately. Frequently. Creatively. Happy April. Happy National Poetry Month. #nationalpoetrymonth #poetry #poem #kissing #flowers #chocolate #romance #love #lust #kiss #creative #create #wordisborn (at Palm Springs, California)

We should celebrate embrace, infinitely all the sweet possibility this world holds, for every one, every day Love can find its way back home, to be felt held, kissed, yes enveloped, cherished now and forever, so celebrate today (at Palm Springs, California)

I will speak only in poetry Sing solely in sonnets Expend energy entirely on Something so much deeper Rawer, realer maybe darker I will speak only in poetry If you want me you may send me Some sort of cosmic Koan I will open it slowly, sweetly Savor it like Christmas morning Until then I bid you beauty I ask you only to be lovely Forever and ever, amen

Make me into a fountain of love Mold me into an instrument of good Form my hands into the tools of peace Embolden my pen to transmit truth Let my tears fall upon the earth and seed New growth for all who walk here For we are never alone, when Words exist to lift us up, yes Poetry flows to carry us forth Meet me this month and forever, after We will move mountains build bridges, unite The old and new the future and past The heart and mind the power, it lies Within, so make my Soul into the shape Of everything like water We shall flow... I wrote this random poem for Ms. Emily, because she is sweet and rad and works hard while also going to school to earn her English degree. She came back grinning a few minutes later, showing me how she had placed it inside her server's book. Very awesome way to start a Saturday. The chocolate chip pancakes didn't hurt either. Peoples' casual cruelty never ceases to amaze me. Nor depress me. Deeply. This is why ol Jack drank himself to death. Before 50. Because people routinely choose cruelty over kindness. And Hell over Heaven. I am so sick of it, myself. So very very sick. And tired.

Contemplations meditations musings thoughts yes, feelings I could ponder every inch of your perfectly flawed canvas, kiss every last corner, crevice make you feel something close to bliss, my love may you know how very special your every essence feels and tastes and sounds like soft rain tap tap tapping on the door to my heart
