It's no secret Supercharge is, at her core, just me playing with a powerset and suit that I always loved and fitting them into my own character. But, it occurred to me that I never actually draw ol' Electro Supes himself. So, here's me doing that, along with a time lapse of my process.

With Parasite finally taken out, Nikki decides to take a break from being a superhero and focus on her career. But, sometimes bad things happen to good people.

Been a while!

Supercharge is back! After going toe-to-toe with Parasite and suffering her first major defeat, Supercharge gets a much needed update to her containment suit. Now she's recharged and ready to show Parasite he's finally bitten off more than he can chew. Brand new look... Same old attitude!

Not DC, but I'm too proud not to share this everywhere. Plus, y'know, still fanart of my wife, so that counts!

About 50% of the way through Miles Morales (should be finished, but, y'know...work) and I was inspired to revisit the spidersona I created for my wife, Maltese Spider.

Her costume incorporates the "unhinged webbing" worn by Superior Spider-Man the Maltese Cross and "thin red line" to honor her firefighter origins. Furthermore, I love the "winter outfit" Miles gets in the game, so I did a version of that for Maltese, too.

Nikki Nicoletti’s new powers are incredible! She can fly, phase through objects, and even shoot energy blasts from her hands! But the excitement quickly fades when she discovers her abilities aren’t the only thing that’s changed; Nikki’s entire body is becoming pure energy and she can’t control it! Soon, Brainiac returns to collect his lost Exobites and if Nikki can’t learn to contain herself, she’ll be powerless to stop him.

Supercharge #1

The Man of Steel has finally ended Brainiac’s plans to release his Exobites on the population of Metropolis. However, the battle was long and devastating and even Superman needs help in the aftermath; that’s where Metropolis’ first responders come in. During the clean-up effort, MFD firefighter Nikki Nicoletti is caught in a cave-in and is unknowingly exposed to a stray canister of Exobites. Over the next few days, Nikki’s genetic code is rewritten and she begins developing powerful abilities.

This blog will be mostly character designs and mock covers with and occasional page or two of story for my DC Universe OC Supercharge and her supporting cast. Art styles will shift based on what I feel like drawing at the time.
