Round 1 Redo Polls:

Due to serious concerns of cheating through use of bots, the results of seven polls will be discarded. Rather than eliminating all ships from these polls, we will try redoing the polls for these ships with the match ups shuffled. These redo polls will be posted tomorrow and will run for three days instead of one week. The match ups are listed below.

Please actually look at the results and familiarize yourself with the situation before commenting on it. The suspicious increase in votes was exclusively in support of ships with white characters. So to put it simply, the ships featuring characters of color were harmed by the use of bots and would not be going through if these results were accepted.

What's the point of even having a tournament then?

The point of this tournament is for people to talk about and support the f/m pairings they like. Trying to get your preferred ship to win by using bots instead of trying to appeal to others with reasons why you like said ship and why you think others should too is entirely against the point of this tournament.

There are 24 polls in round one and 7 have been removed. This means that there are 17 polls that are still considered valid.

Announcement:

The results for the first half of round one are in and the results for the second half will come in tomorrow. However, there is some suspicion surrounding some of the results. There has been concern expressed about bots and polls that were not being reblogged suddenly had drastically different results over night. So unless someone has a good reason against this idea, all ships involved in this suspicious activity will automatically be eliminated for next round.
