‘ yes, boo, your attitude. ’ if delilah had to listen to the what could she do’s, she might as well share an advice as well. part of her knew that it’d be just a waste of energy as all this time with grayson helped her figure out that he does whatever he wants. besides, delilah never took an advice from someone not as important to her to heart, she wouldn’t expect it from the male either. ‘ your smile looks like straight out of ancient greek theatre, no one buys that. ’ she crosses her legs as her hues followed back to him one more time, left eyebrow slowly raising up. ‘ i guess. how do you wanna do it? ’

                      in a way, luci envied the older girl who seemed to have her life figured out. it wasn’t like she had that in any way; given she was still young and had plenty of time to be considered successful but honestly she couldn’t help but think what the fuck she was going to do with a communications degree. probably because it was such a broad major, it wasn’t like education or pre-law where you’d know what you’d be doing after graduation. “that, i can agree to, sweetheart.”

‘ fantastalicious. to the new beginnings, ’ she raises her perfectly shaped hand, her fingers softly holding the dress as if she’d be raising a glass of wine. ‘ of naked bodies in the hot sun with a view to the ocean while sipping on a good, ol’ blanton’s bourbon. ’ she closes her eyes as her voice remains soft with a hint of dreamy tones.

“Long story short: I finally snapped today and may or may not have said ‘okay boomer’ to her face in the teacher’s lounge, when she was bugging me again with some crazy-long, lowkey scary speech. “Can you please grab that box of ham and cheese hot pockets,” the young woman said with a sigh to the person next to her. Being five foot nothing was such a shitty thing,always had been. Where hot pockets her favorite thing in the world? Maybe plus they were cheap and she was running out of money after being back a few days. She’d been trying to keep things low key until she could figure out if she was even staying long term. “Thank you,"she said with her cutest smile before getting a good look at the person.

as much as delilah would like to, she couldn’t help but give her sister a judgemental look. i guess you could call it her obsession over perfection and yes, perfect eating habits were counting but still, she reaches for the box of hot pockets. ‘ i’m pretty sure we could get someone to make us homemade hot pockets and you will actually know what’s in them, lil. ’ it was delilah’s way to show concern about her sister’s eating habits - maybe not the warmest way to do it but it was the only way delilah knew.

‘ i’m pretty sure there is a liquor store at every corner of lima so it’s not that you had to run through new york to get your favourite but baby - rule number one, there’s no such a thing as too much alcohol and next time, spoil yourself and get a couple bottles. ’

it’s not that delilah wasn’t trying … fine, maybe she wasn’t as much as she was expected to but she was specific. didn’t use the l word since the day she turned twelve and all of her past relationships were full of doubts ; does she love them? is she cheating on them? the thought of acting like every other couple would most likely make her puke. and right now here she was - sitting on her fake boyfriend couch, her clothes perfectly ironed as her long fingers quickly tap over the screen of her phone but as a lady, once the male approached, she put the device down only to frown her perfectly groomed eyebrows. ‘ why do you need fake girlfriend anyway? ’ she decides to completely ignore his statement, mostly because it’s not the first time she’d hear it.

the girl frustrated him, but most women did. he didn’t get why faking an emotion was such a big deal. “I don’t need anything. they just think since they loved us in one stupid video we should give them what they want so they’ll be happy.” he said rolling his eyes. taking a seat beside her, but making sure not to be too close. “but seriously people aren’t going to start believing us if someone doesn’t charge their facial expressions. like seriously is there anything I can do that could help.”

delilah was never the one to brag about how successful she turned out to be despite living in, as she would call it, a shithole called lima in a goddamn ohio and offering her friends free trips or anything was never what it could seem to be. maybe if someone didn't know her, they'd think she's buying her way into someone's appreciation but no - the hummel-anderson believed in greater good, doing good things and the universe will give you good things back. sappy. ‘ trust me, it's fine. besides, if anything, next time we're about to get drunk, the shots will be on you. call it a payback. ’

                      watching delilah, she understood if the girl was frustrated and while luci may have turned down the exciting offer of ending up in bed with her, but she was sure the dark haired girl would be able to find someone at the drop of a hat to take her up on that offer. “mhm, is that so?” the younger one mused, raising an eyebrow. “are you sure? i couldn’t just do that, you know. i’m sure if i tell my parents they’ll give me some money.”
