Solve JJRC H31 RC drone transmitter issues

For the JJRC H31 quadcopter transmitter issues such as no reaction, cannot control the drone, indicator flashing, this fixing guide can effectively solve these cases.

The transmitter has no reaction even after installing battery. ● Please check whether the positive and negative terminals of battery are installed correctly. There is a mark in the battery case, follow the indication to install them.

● Check whether the batteries install tightly. If some of them are loosened, the electric circuit cannot be connected as well.

● Maybe some of the batteries already run out of the power. Simply change four new batteries to have a try.

● If the above conditions are eliminated, the most possible reason should be the transmitter is broken or the inside electric circuit/cables have something wrong. Please take it to an RC store to check and fix.

The transmitter cannot control the drone (indicator is lit). ● The first condition might be the transmitter and the drone are not paired well. So no matter how you operate the transmitter, the drone won't react to the orders. Simply bind them again. Turn off both the transmitter and the drone, then launch them again. Make them closer, and move the left joystick to the top then the bottom, once the indicators of the two devices stop flashing, they are connected well.

● The drone's battery will run out. In this condition, the drone cannot follow the transmitter's order well - sometimes it reacts to the control, sometime not. So please charge the drone's battery with its original USB cable.

● The transmitter's battery power is not enough. Therefore, the signal the transmitter released will become weak, which will influence the drone's signal receiving. Simply change four new batteries for the device.

● The remote signal is influenced by the surrounding environment. When you are flying the RC drone, please choose an open area without obstacles, buildings, and towers. Otherwise, the wireless signal might be affected. And also, the wind will influence the drone's reaction, too. So a good weather is also necessary.

● Make sure the transmitter and the drone are stay in the effective distance 100 meters, the drone will lost the control.

● When all the factors are excluded, the transmitter is broken, or the drone's signal receiving component is damaged. Please take it to an RC toy shop to check and fix. If the problem is serious that some main component needs to be changed, please contact the after-sales service for suggestion.

The transmitter indicator keeps flashing after launch. There are two reasons:

● The transmitter's battery will run out. Simply change new batteries for it.

● The transmitter and the drone are not paired well. Try to bind them again to see whether the problem goes. Turn off both the transmitter and the drone, then launch them again. Make them closer, and move the left joystick to the top then the bottom, once the indicators of the two devices stop flashing, they are connected well.

Flying Practice With The New MJX X600 Hexacopter

The MJX X600 X-SERIES 2.4G 6-Axis  Hexacopter is coming to Banggood very soon. So this week a few of us went out for a photoshoot and some flying practice to try it out. Aldo from our promotions team was giving us a few beginners’ tips on photography, as well supervising me trying out the X600 as I’m still a developing flyer. It was my first time flying a hexacopter but I did alright and our nice new MJX X600 survived.

I kept fairly low and was generally pretty cautious. The X600 has a 3 different modes from beginner to advanced, so I pretty much stuck to the lowest level which moves quite slowly actually. My flying mentor showed it off a bit better although found the quad doing rolls too easily (without really intending it too) on the highest setting.

The overall design of the X600 is quite nice. It comes in black or white, and looks pretty smart in either, although I personally prefer black. The on/off switch is on the top of the quad which means you don’t have to fumble around underneath for easy use.

There are some nice features on this quad, which are highlighted below on the guide to the transmitter. As well as the beginner, intermediate and advanced flying levels I mentioned, there is also a dial to limit the power of the throttle, good to control your flying depending on your experience and the environment in which you’re flying.

There’s a headless mode option so it it won’t matter in which direction you’re standing in relation to the hexacopter, a convenient flip/role button to show off some acrobatics with ease, and also a one button return function to easily get it back to you, (although we didn’t try this in the little car park we were using to try it.

The MJX600 also gives the option of four modes modes in choosing the functions of the main controls, so you can control the throttle, direction and rotation as you wish.

The LED’s on the underneath make the X600 good for night flying, and the two at the back are red so you can keep orientated in low light.

Overall I think it’s a pretty decent hexacopter, it allows for good control and stability on the intermediate level but not sure it would be great for doing exactly what you want if you want to be racing around through the air on full speed. It was also caught by the wind a bit too at times it’s difficult to say whether this was down to the wide flat structure or just the conditions.

Thanks to the 700mAH battery, within 2 hours you’ll be charged up and will get around a decent 10 minutes of flight time. Also included in the kit are spare propellers, propeller guards, and landing gear but don’t forget to check out adding on a camera to get the most out of the X600.
