YOU'RE RIGHT... it's his time to shine!! (warning for some not sfw implications!!)

The Grove’s resident heretic lets out an undignified “oof” as you charge forward, tackling him onto your bed. Triumphant, you crawl over his splayed-out form. You sit on his lap as he props himself on his elbows. Unlike yourself, who is grinning ear to ear, his countenance displays no such enthusiasm. 

Brimming with confidence, you decide to gloat. “Is this all it takes to best the infamous Anaxagoras in combat?” 

“Combat?” He repeats with distaste. “Do you require tutoring in linguistics? Pouncing on me like a mindless brute hardly fits the word.”  

“I hope you aren’t the tutor, ‘cause you need a lesson yourself,” you retort. “There was nothing ‘mindless’ about my strategy. It worked, didn’t it?”

“For as long as I permit.” 

You roll your eyes. Even lying beneath you, a rosy hue dusting his cheeks, he still refuses to concede. You suppose that’s what makes him so entertaining to mess with. There will always be some push and pull between you — your mutually competitive spirits demand it. More often than not, he emerges victorious when academics are the deciding factor. That isn’t to say you haven’t had your moments. You don’t always need an analytical mind in a battle of wits against Anaxa. Sometimes, whimsy is all it takes. You’ve got plenty of that. 

For better or for worse. 

“Make me move, then.” 

“And why would I do that?” 

“Huh? What do you mean?” You ask. “If you don’t, that means I win by default, right?” 

Anaxa chuckles. It’s the light, airy kind that instills apprehension. You know this sound. He often laughs similarly during public debates, after his opponent unknowingly walks into a trap. 

“Our ideas of victory differ greatly. From my perspective, this situation isn’t so bad… yes, far from it,” he hums, his eye flickering over your form. You swallow thickly. “I’m content to remain just like this.” 

He graciously allows you a moment to process the implications. Heat rises to your face, his self-content smirk further igniting the kindling his words spread. There’s no way you’ll allow him the gratification of seeing you embarrassed! This latest development calls for a tactical retreat. Before you can flee, his hands shoot out, grasping both sides of your hips. His fingers sink in as he holds you firmly in place. 

The bright, scintillating quality of his eye fills you with foreboding. He takes advantage of your surprise and sits up, the distance between your faces shrinking. 

“You think I’d let you escape after suffering your provocations?” he hums. “I never took you for a coward.” 

You let out an indignant huff. “I-I’m not a coward.” 

“Explain your trembling, then.” 

Gnawing on your lower lip, you break eye contact. You’ve done it now. The prey has caught the predator, demanding reparations for the hunt’s inconvenience. You writhe around to no avail. The supposed ‘frail’ scholar is anything but. Gracile as his form may be, he’s unexpectedly strong. Your prospects of escape are growing more and more grim. 

“Allow me to present an alternative theory…” Anaxa trails off, building intrigue, likely an intentional choice. “Maybe what you’re experiencing is not so much ‘fear’ but another kind of arousal…” 

“That’s—” 

He clicks his tongue and squeezes your flesh. “Never interrupt me. You’re fortunate I’m fond of you, or a strict reprimanding would be in order.” 

You can’t stop yourself from making a risky comment, despite your predicament. 

“Growing soft, professor?” 

“Not in the slightest,” he responds. Then, the world’s spinning, your equilibrium thrown by the wayside. He flips you onto your side, capitalizing on the momentum to hover above you, effectively switching your previous positions. While you struggle to make sense of what just happened, he pins your arms above you by your wrists. 

“Knowing you as well as I do,” he starts, lowering his voice to a whisper, like he intends to impart a secret not even the gods should hear, “Your tendency to enjoy being punished defeats the whole purpose.”

If you don't mind, I would like to ask you how many languages you are proficient in because I feel curious.

english is the only language i'm fluent in!! i can roughly follow conversations in japanese, but reading it is an entirely different beast. i'm starting to pick up a little spanish from my job, i'd like to learn more so i can communicate with my coworkers better.

anaxa wondered when this event might play out. he noticed the longing looks you gave his bare expanses of skin and was curious about what might be causing this behavior. he’s going to ask you questions about your mindset leading up to, during, and after the chomp, like he’s conducting a survey. you didn’t think it was that deep but he believes he’s onto something.

blade is perplexed but will keep going about his business, thinking you’re just up to your usual nonsense, unless you tell him it’s a sign of affection. he then goes quiet. after mulling it over, he instructs you to ‘use more force.’ his heightened regeneration almost instantly heals any mark you leave, but this way it’ll last longer.

chrollo sensed something similar to bloodlust emanating from you when you went for the chomp. he waits until you’re finished to ask if this is your way of telling him that you’re hungry. if you ever surprise him, he has to one up you, and this wry joke (??) of questionable effectiveness is his way of doing so.

you were half expecting gojo’s infinity to get in the way. instead, the constantly running ability accommodates you, receding just enough for you to see your task finished. behind his blindfold, his pupils dilate and his breath catches in his throat. it shouldn’t come as a surprise, but you find out he’s into it. afterwards, he’s going to pin you down and leave his own marks all over your body, explaining that it’s only fair.

scara makes a choked noise, not from pain, but from confusion. what are you doing? what are you hoping to achieve? why does he kinda like it? a myriad of thoughts relentlessly swarm his mind. to make matters worse, he can feel his face flushing, despite his lack of a cardiovascular system. he tries so hard to hide that he’s flustered that you almost get secondhand embarrassment yourself.

Amaryllis, Hydrangea, and Lotus for Geto and Gojo sharing a reader?

Amaryllis - Would this yandere ever bend their whims to better suit their darling’s needs, or is their word always law? 

It depends. Generally speaking, they don't grant you much leniency. Once they've made a decision they tend to stick to it. You are welcome to raise your concerns — Geto actually encourages you to — but not owing to any goodwill on his part. He wants to better understand your view so he can meticulously deconstruct them. Geto acts like he's weighing your points, but it's all pretense. He feels it's good for you to be under the impression that they're hearing you out. Then there's Gojo, who, after lots of begging on your part, offers some concessions. What can he say? He finds your pleading adorable. Sometimes he'll restrict small, inconsequential things just because he knows you'll do anything to have them back. Geto chastises him for this bad habit, yet finds it amusing.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like? 

Gojo is all for it. Geto has some reservations, as he's too shrewd to believe you've had an abrupt change of heart. While he enjoys your affection, he thinks bad habits should be nipped in the bud. Gojo's willing to sit back and see what happens, but Geto will tell you with this chilling smile that he doesn't care for being manipulated (like he doesn't live, breathe, and sleep manipulation). Neither of them believe you can pull one over on them. Gojo's happy to take advantage of your newfound tenderness, regardless of your intentions. Your strength is so lacking compared to his that he can't take your schemes seriously. If anything, it stirs up cuteness aggression in him. He just wants to coo over how precious you are. Look at you, sneaking around, giving it your all! How can he not find that endearing?

Lotus - How does this yandere ultimately view their darling? As someone greater than them and in need or reverence, someone lower than them, or somewhere in between? 

They both view you as a weak being who requires their protection. Even if you're a capable Sorcerer, by their standards, the gap in your abilities is so immense that you might as well be a civilian. Neither of them recognizes your autonomy. They feel they're entitled to you and that in their absence, the world would see your goodness and devour you whole. Gojo's more transparent about this than Geto, who feigns a degree of respectability. Geto tells you what you want to hear, whereas Gojo doesn't see the point in exercising tact. They can both wordlessly communicate and agree on most issues regarding you, aside from this one point. Gojo figures you'll get over it sooner once "the band-aid is ripped off", unlike Geto, who has eight different half-lies going with you at once. You're really going through it.
