Their first meeting takes place not too long after the events of "Evolution"

It was likely a combination of grief and guilt over not being able to protect his kind that caused Predaking to almost instantly get attached to the sparkling that he found. A sparkling that looked so much like a predacon, at that. It even gave him a brief hope that there was another one of his kin.

Even after Shockwave analysed them and confirmed that there was not a spec of predacon CNA in them, that attachment stayed.

Basically, in this AU Predaking is the first Cybertronian Nightshade meets. And upon first meeting Nightshade being a polite little them said "Hello, sir!"

Predaking, not yet familiar with human terms thought that it was just their funky way of saying "Sire". So, for a while he legit thought that Nightshade believed him to be their father. (Also, them kinda looking like a tiny predacon didn't help)

Honestly, before I drew Nightshade with Predaking I didn't think they'd fit so perfectly in his servo

I was going to ask who would fall first, Jazz or Prowl, but I’ve thought of a better question. Who would take a bullet for the other first? Jazz or Prowl

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Imma say Prowl. Because then Jazz can have the “OH FUCK” moment when he realises that he somehow started to really care about Prowl. And double the “oh fuck” by also realising how bad Prowl sucks at keeping himself from getting hurt hehe

Jazz is like. He had significantly more friends before the war and most of them died. He basically learned that he can only really have friends that are really good at surviving. Like Optimus haha Optimus is fucking impossible to kill. There’s always a lot of danger around Jazz. All his close friends are either really good at overcoming the danger or uh..already dead.

And now there’s a problem. Because he already got attached. And the object of the attachment has the durability of a wet paper towel. Tragic~

I think one of the Worst Things about wanting to find period clothing from other cultures, is trying to find fucking casual/work clothes. Like no, I do not want to see all these fancy intricate kimonos, I want to see jinbei, and field work outfits so I don't put a damn obi on this poor boy so he has a belt to hang his knife from.
