PSA : i'm dropping threads ! anything that i've been hanging on to because i've been trying to get muse to spark but hasn't happened, i'm dropping. my queue is set up to go out throughout the day with replies that i have managed to get done.

that being said, me dropping a thread doesn't mean i don't want to write with you - it means either that pairing or scenario doesn't spark joy anymore. once my queue has gone out completely, i'll revisit this and most likely post more opens or post a starter call.

doesn't move, almost feeling like she hasn't blinked nor breathed after what he'd said. just stood there with her arms crossed tight over her chest like she was holding herself together by force. the music thudded around them, but it felt far away — like it was happening in another life, one where she hadn’t just heard him say that. ‘ so why are you over here ? ’ questions, as all she'd heard was what she'd already figured. that nothing would've come from what would happen, remaining in this awkward limbo where she simultaneously wanted to kill him and beg him to see her ; but she wasn't one for begging. never had been. especially not for attention. ‘ i'm not begging for a damn thing. ’ says it more confidently than she feels, chin lifted as if daring him to dispute her words. ‘ all i've heard is that you're scared and want everything to be easy. if that's what you wanted, you shouldn't have kissed me. you shouldn't have ... ’ so easy to throw it all back in his face as if she hadn't been an easy, and willing, participant. ‘ just go, kamari. us standing here going back and forth won't change anything. ’

"Fuck," Kamari muttered under his breath, running a hand down his face like it might wipe away everything building in his expression — the want, the ache, the truth. "You think this is me patronizin' you?" He asked, barely pushing past the tension in his throat. "I ain't that good of an actor, Deyj. If I could fake it with you, I wouldn't still be standing here lookin' at you like this." The music pounded in the background, but it felt like static compared to the silence that fell between their words; the things unsaid, straining at the leash. "You think I'm still with her 'cause I don't give a shit about what we had?" He asked again, a little quieter this time as he stepped in closer without touching her. "Nah, I'm still with her 'cause it's easier than blowin' my whole life up for somethin' that scares the hell outta me." Kamari shook his head in disbelief, his jaw clenched tight. "But you standing here telling me you been lovin' me long before that night... You got no idea what that does to me." He glanced over at the girl still waiting across the room, then back at Deyjah. The space between them may as well have been a mile. "You want me to go over there, but I ain't sure if you're tellin' me to... Or beggin' me not to."

since we're resharing the extension that adds extra spacing (which is helpful!), i'd like to share a couple resources i have (and use) that do the opposite, plus a couple other accessibility tools for other common rpc aesthetic choices. these are all website based and can thus be used on any device or browser.

convertcase can remove extra spaces/whitespace, emojis, empty spaces, punctuation and more from any block of text you paste in.

code beautify has standalone tools for much of the above (remove extra spaces, remove whitespace, remove punctuation) plus a lot of other tools in a similar vein.

title case converter converts text into sentence case, all lowercase, or all uppercase.

onelinetexttools and yaytext both have tools to convert stylized text (unicode fonts, etc.) into plain text.

textise converts any webpage into just plain text. you can change the font, font size, color, and a lot of other settings to make things easier to read. it doesn't remove anything but images, but in combination with other tools can still be incredible helpful.
