despite my ultra-careful budgeting, no extraneous purchases, no buying mtg cards, no alcohol (can't drink anymore at all after a medical diagnosis anyways), no weed, no going over to people's houses (therefore no ubers), no eating out, no ordering in, basically just existing

I'm so fucking. tired. and sad. I wish I had a better side hustle, I wish my art actually sold, I wish I was good at like. something useful to this capitalist hellscape. I almost wish I was a shittier person and totally okay with scamming people

like. we're not gonna lose our home. we should be able to pay the rest of rent by July 11. but it's just. goddamn dude. I'm making a decent wage and being so careful with my money and it's still not enough because we fell behind. and it's my fault we fell behind because I had a mental fuckin breakdown and had to go on EI for 3 months

I've been selling all my worthwhile possessions (my retro games collection, my pokemon cards, mtg cards I'm not attached to) to try and have enough money for groceries and like, I don't mind that, I just wish I didn't have to. those assets were only going to continue to appreciate...

whatever man. I just have to fucking. keep my nose to the grindstone. a few more months of Just Existing and maybe I'll be able to afford going to the dentist for my cracked tooth or something
