Things people learn too late: 1. Life isn’t fair - I know we’ve all heard it as kids that life isn’t fair but gosh as an adult tell me it ain’t the truth! 2. Everything doesn’t last forever – that goes for the good times, the bad times, the ugly times literally everything will pass! 3. Beneath anger is always fear - Believe it or not this is a big fact! 4. A lifetime isn’t forever - yes sometimes it feels like we have all the Time in the world but in reality you don’t know when that time is it! 5. Things don’t matter that much - it might seem super big today but in the grand scheme of things does it really matter that much? Is it going to affect your livelihood? Are you still alive? Move on! 6. If you let people slide they will ice skate all over you! - I know this all too well! I got to the point in my life where I no longer have patience for people that try to get away with things and take advantage of my kindness. You think you’re slick? say less stay away from me! 7. Having a child or children with a person does not mean they will stay!- I had two beautiful amazing daughters with my children’s father. When we had our first daughter we had been together for 4/5 months. We try to make it work to keep the family together but then we came to the realization a couple years later that we were in each others people. We broke up and got pregnant with our second daughter three weeks after that. But we never got back together! I would’ve rather had 100% be a single mother with two little girls then to be in a toxic relationship just for the sake of the kids! I say that all to say. it didn’t matter if I had triplets, I wasn’t staying! Ladies, if he doesn’t wanna be with you! guess what he’s really not gonna want to be with you with a baby! I’ve learned that the hard way many times over 4- don’t explain yourself to people that only see things their way and don’t have any intention on changing! 5-i’ve always stay pretty quiet when I’ve been mad or annoyed! The only time I’ve been able to snap out of it is with people that understand that I’m upset but if I get nothing but pushback from my silence.
