                       it takes rex two long groans and a (  accidental  )  kick to colby’s shin before he gets up from the warmth of the sheets to close the curtains. once he does so he jumps into the bed and curls himself up on to her side.  ‘  so now that i have closed the curtains in the apartment where i have fucked your pussy, would you be so kind and finally tell me how the sex was  ?  ’  he was like a needy puppy, his eyes were wide awaiting her answer.  truthfully, he hoped whatever she was going to say next wouldn’t hurt his ego too bad.

             colby smiles into the pillow as she watches rex begin to climb out of the bed ---- said smile is long gone once his foot is colliding with her shin, leaving a string of expletives to fall from that pretty mouth of hers. as he comes back to bed, she props herself up onto an elbow to gaze down at him, the corner of her mouth turning up. “it was good,” she finally says. “surprisingly good, actually.” she laughs and rolls onto her back. “don’t let that go to your head.”

        colby has never really been the stay the night type-- most of the time, she dipped before any of the guys she had sex with could question anything. though she was prepared to wake up and for rex to be gone, she finds that she’s a little relieved that he’s still there. some may even go as far as to say happy. “you stay at my apartment, in my bed, after fucking my pussy, and you won’t even close the curtains? shame.” she rolls over onto her stomach, face smushed in the pillow. “i’ll let you know when you close the curtains.”

in a small town that has been under the public eye since a pop culture phenomenon used it as the setting, strange things were happening long before the town was a tourist trap; including the disappearance of ben beckett. but perhaps lake wayworth was never just an innocent and useful place to set the dark dusk series. perhaps the author knew more than she was letting on. with the author and main star of the movie series now missing, perhaps it’s the very creatures that are hiding in the shadows of the town that are the key to finding out who and what are responsible for these disappearances. a mysterious pale family with a house tucked away in large house in the woods, a motorcycle gang that keeps its circle tight, and a gaggle of girls constantly running around the local apothecary… perhaps lake wayward is more fictional after all.

lake wayward is a supernatural discord and tumblr based group verse including vampires, werewolves, witches, and humans!
