mileven moment in the teaser isn't shot as romantic!

look at the lighting, the way they're seated. the position of their hands. their expressions.

if it was romantic, the light should've been something nice and diffused, not just this overhead bulb that barely hits el's face at all.

if it was romantic, they should've been seated so much closer to each other. head on shoulder, or facing each other directly, not this awkward side pose that they're in.

if it was romantic, it would've been a kiss (and i doubt they can even kiss with this side sit position thing they've got going on). or even a hint of smile.

but no: while undoubtedly nice, the moment looks a little sad, like an ending or a reconciliation (or maybe a coming out scene). it doesn't read like an "i love you", not even half as much as the van scene or the byler scene on the couch does. on the contrary — it feels almost like a "sorry".
