Eric has been working hard towards his dream of a bakery but that's meant no time for social life or love. The baking set his Gram and Mama send him might just be the fix.

Nursey shrugs. Dex sighs all the way down to his toes. He can’t believe he’s going to do this, but he’s briefly haunted by the spectre of both Chowder and Bitty’s disappointed faces. That’s too much for any one man to be expected to handle.

“Alright, let’s go, grab your bag.”

“What?”

“You’re coming to Maine with me.”

“What? No, absolutely not.”

Fifteen minutes later they’re in Dex’s ancient pickup truck headed up the coast.

Or, Dex takes Nursey home for Christmas last minute and, wouldn't you know, there's only one bed. In Dex's childhood bedroom. This is fine.

In the middle of a medal hunt during the 2002 Winter Olympics, Lardo manages to find something else she wants just as bad as the gold.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving (9,448 words)

Jack Zimmermann joins the Stargate program and becomes friends with one of the resident scientists, Dr. Bittle. Jack is on an away team, but he keeps on returning to the SGC, and every time he does, he checks in with Eric. Even when he turns purple. Even once the Ancient technology goes haywire and traps him in a shifted dimension. Even on the memorable day he’s transformed into an alien creature. Even when he’s loopy and altered from an allergic reaction to the mosquitoes on P-3X782.

There’s just something about Eric that lifts and comforts Jack’s spirits, no matter what else is going on in his life.

Hey y’all! It’s officially December, which means works are due this month! Friday, December 15th, to be exact.

Works can be submitted to the collection any time between now and the due date.

It’s also not too late to claim a prompt! Here are just a few of the unclaimed prompts to spark your imagination!

There’s a Netflix movie called The Knight Before Christmas where a medieval knight somehow ends up in modern times during the holidays and of course ends up falling in love. Something along those lines with the ship of your choice would be very fun!!

Ship of your choice goes on a trip to somewhere cold! Maybe Alaska, a ski resort, or somewhere to see the Northern Lights?

When a storm prevents Chowder and Caitlin from flying home to spend the holidays with their families in California, Bitty and Jack invite them to spend the holidays with them at their place. (Set post-canon)

Art prompt! Ship of your choice ice skating. Maybe on a lake, maybe at a rink, preferably holding hands!

It's Christmas Eve, and bad weather has Jack stuck on the other side of the country. Will he make it home to Bitty in time for Christmas?

Dex makes holiday cookies for the Haus. Nursey helps. Up to you whether it’s an established relationship or pre-relationship or even getting together!
