Is it possible our Tribe was jibbed out of a highly sought after playoff spot?
Is this all because of the rivalry that has transpired with Houston?
Whatever it may be, the Cleveland Indians don’t just go around tossing shade and making accusations. I fully believe in and stand by this ball club. Never settle.

Trevor Bauer in 2018.
At 27 years young, Trevor Bauer is arguably one of the greatest pitchers in the league. With a career ERA of 3.94 at the end of the 2018 season, he is well on his way to earning the desirable Cy Young Award.
Bauer was a promiment contender in the race for the Cy Young in the 2018 season, giving performance after performance of utter dominance and striking out 221 batters on the year. He was beating his personal best and igniting knee buckling at bats until an unfortunate line drive came pummeling back at him.
On an 0-1 fastball to White Sox first baseman, Jose Abreu, Bauer was expecting anything other than what was about to happen when that ball left his fingers. Almost as quickly as the pitch was thrown, did it come barreling back to the mound, knocking Trevor to the dirt.
After Yonder Alonso succussfully completed the play for the out, he as well as Jose Ramirez, team manager Terry Francona, and athletic trainer Jeff Desjardins, rushed over to a limping Bauer. Even though he was grimacing and showing obvious signs of discomfort, Trevor was able to walk off the field unassissted, leading everyone to believe the injury result was minor.
Initial X-rays showed no signs of structural damage, therefore, it was assumed Bauer would be primed and ready for his next start the following week. Unfortunately, on August 14, 2018, Trevor was placed on a rectroactive (August 12) 10 day DL due to a stress fracture on his right fibula. Much to his dismay, and that of the fans, the injury and DL stint devoured Bauer’s chance at the Cy Young Award.
In an otherwise stellar season, Trevor Bauer was an All Star for the first time in his career, despite his clash with the Houston Astros and team manager A.J. Hinch, who was managing in the All Star game. Bauer also held the “69 Days of Giving” campaign after his arbitration case. While many took this as a mockery of the arbitration system, it seemed so many more were entertained by the event and both sides fueled the fire. All in all, 69 groups were grateful for Trevor’s donations and who gives a damn how it was done.
Bauer has also stormed the Cleveland Indians fanbase by using the name Bauer Outage and teaming up with the Tribe Hot Dogs to create the “Outage Outpost” in the bleachers section of Progressive Field. His warmup music is an intense set by the Swedish band Amon Amarth and when it comes blaring through the speakers of the stadium, the fans erupt. This such event sparked an eclectic uprising when Trevor had shirts made using his personalized logo, held a contest over Instagram, and announced the future launch of a new website featuring said logo. The website has since launched: https://trevorbauer.com/
Trevor Bauer may be considered the “bad boy” of baseball, or at least Twitter, but he’s set such standards as a starting pitcher, there’s no doubt he can’t get that Cy Young in 2019. Check out his 2018 stats here: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/bauertr01.shtml
I may be extremely biased as a Cleveland Indians fan, but here you have it. A blog about Trevor and probably a bit of the team. #RallyTogether
