JUSTICE FOR MOHAMUD HASSAN

on friday january 8th 2021 mohamud hassan was arrested by police when an elderly neighbour claimed he was making a commotion in his home in wales, cardiff. mohamud was released without charge the next morning but arrived home severely injured. his clothes were covered in blood, there was severe bleeding from his mouth and he had bruising covering his face. mohamud said that he was tasered twice and brutally kicked in the head. when his body was examined there were also believed to be bite marks covering his body and he had a dislocated knee. when he was told to get medical attention, he proceeded to tell everyone he was too tired and would after he got some rest. however, in his sleep, he grew unresponsive when his friend/housemate tried waking him up. his friend/housemate called an ambulance and proceeded to perform cpr on mohamud. at 10:30 pm police came flooding in and taped off the residency trying to state it was a crime scene, disallowing mohamud’s family to see their son who was lying on the kitchen floor until 6:45 am.

i am BEGGING you to spread the word that black lives STILL matter and it was not a trend. the uk IS NOT innocent. the arrest rate for black men is rising in the uk along with the death rate. we need to call out inequality and make this FAIR.

a little treat for chrstmas and new year, which im posting on my birthday.

the first one i finished on the last day i was 14! cant wait to see how 15 will be. 

take a good look at them, both artworks mean much to me, they signify transformation. ive been in a bad spot but through strenous effort ive pulled myself out of it. well, its n a stretch to say im a bit of a masochist. but it just fits that school started, ive strained my body so much its probaby about time i respected it. but hey were all young and stupid, and it looks like going through trials like this is a normal part of grwing up, its always nice to work yourself to the point your mind and body is in a different state. and of course, cleaning the floor while listening to wagner operas.

all in all, ive been really enjoying nietzsche. great guy. just a bit misogynistic and conflicted. 

but, suffering wont have meaning forever. suffering by itself is pointless, it is through the flames of your own soul you will learn your lessons. its time to stop resting in my shadow, and welcome the sun. beauty speaks in gentle tones, yet they are clearest after the storm, the rain shining ever so brightly on leaves and branches. ah, no snow here. but the clouds and mist are ever so gentle. 

seems as though ive overworked certain pieces. but just as the chickenpox and fever caused sleepless nights, they itch and itch but scratching them will only make it worse. finishing a painting is hard, because once a summit is reached, you seem to trip on rocks even when cliffs are surmounted. seems as though its never reward, punsihmnt or paise that matters, merely the peace one feels within, through overcoming the ego and attaining that level of clearance that one only sees after they have risen above the storm.. such calm. fresh coldness. yet you cant rest in one place lest you freeze to death or grow stagnant; no, one must go on, to go through new forests and meadows, bathe in fresh streams, and win new peaks. you achieve so much more when having fun. raw discipline and work cool the will, the calm yet strong will that makes even servant to master. for a free creature is that which obeys its will, it is its will. with meaning one can go through all suffering yet not view it as pain, and achieve the highest peaks. through such cleansing and storm i create my greatest pieces. they signify the path as well as its finitude. 

all that is constant is changing, stagnancy seems alien to life. one must go on after the lesson is learnt, lest one stays repeating the same circle, blind he is rolling downhill. through unclouded eyes you must se the world, no longer stay stagnant in bed. embrace the sun as it shines! rise, and you will find peace.

even the lion metamorphoses into the child, from thou-shalt to I WILL. after great destruction comes great creation. yet gently speaks the voice of beauty, only the awakened child can hear it.
