Hello this is my very first tumblr post and very first time using tumblr :)  I am bibb; a transgender artist who likes to illustrate OC/Canon content and interactions between characters . just to get it out of the way, i am thrilled for billie. i think she's dedicated and talented and deserves all of the love.

i do just think it's interesting when we compare her to other artists from the grammy's, specifically lizzo. we all know the videos of billie, saying "please don't be me, please don't be me," and going up on stage and waxing poetic about how ariana deserved it. she is being PRAISED. everybody calling her humble, calling her sweet, defending her saying that people are gonna talk shit on her (which they will). all valid points.

i only recently saw the video of lizzo saying "beyoncé, beyoncé" while awaiting the winner announcement. the first comment under the original tweet said "god this cow is annoying." this comment was followed by plenty others talking about how she did it for attention, how she is looking for praise, how she's fake.

i just think it's interesting, and it made me think about all the shit the internet gives lizzo while they praise other creators. i'm going to keep using billie for now.

we all know billie wears her signature baggy clothes because she doesn't want to be objectified, she wants people to focus on her music. she is praised for having control over her own body and self image. lizzo is CONFIDENT in herself, despite thousands of tweets daily bashing her and trying to tear her down. she wears clothes that she loves, clothes that make her comfortable and help her feel herself, and she is again and again torn down, called names, and insulted.

i'm just tired of it. i'm tired of y'all hating plus size women and woc for living their lives unapologetically, and i just- it's so obvious. they don't even try to hide it.
