I'm still just thinking about Eddie looking at Katie and going "we can do much better than this" which is so clearly already a promise to do this again explicitly for her to drain someone one. And Jade also immediately going "you should have a more powerful kindred".

I love Gable and his struggle to stay on some sort of moral ground.

But Aabria has me by the throat for the character choice that Katie is absolutely going to diablerize someone!

the biggest problem with writing fantasy in english is that there's really no alternate universe phrasing that carries the exact tone and context to the reader as "jesus fucking christ"

It's not entirely clear based on foot position and the only vague mapping of the shadows, but for the record, I do think Essek is floating in his animated art. I can't say for certain, but given that his shadow is less distinct around the feet than the rest of the Neins', and that his toes both seem somewhat pointed, especially in contrast to the fact that no one else is depicted in motion, I'm pretty sure it's just because he float. :3

considering how abundantly clear they're making it that nott is an adult woman in the animated show, i'm honestly curious how her dynamic with caleb is going to play to a general audience coming into this with no preconceived notions. in the campaign, nott got hit with so many knocks against shipping her with anyone, originating with the misinterpretation of her as a literal child, that shipping her with caleb was practically a fandom faux pas until 2020-2021 when there was canon confirmation that veth had feelings for him, and even then it was largely intentionally ignored by the audience as something distasteful. so if we're starting with a clean slate and full knowledge that nott is an adult, i'm curious if we won't see more interaction and willingness to explore the ship in this medium from a new audience. on the other hand, i'd also be curious to see if we won't, and if it would instead be because nott is lewd/unattractive instead of because she's viewed as a child (and later mother/wife)

Now that the trailer is out and we know the show isn't gonna have a stylized name like TLoVM. What are people planning to use as the show tag?

We want people who haven't seen the campaign to be able to at least block spoilers if not have a tag dedicated to the show. And while The Legend of Vox Machina was different enough..... most people already have The Mighty Nein as a tag.

So either reblog with your options or reply or whatever and I want to do a poll later.
