Mike snorts. "Thanks, big guy." He'll probably have to reshape this hat later or something, but honestly, he doesn't care all that much—he might just leave it like this if no one tells him to. Adds character.

"Say, feel like playing a few late night tunes for me?" He reaches up to return the gesture, patting the DJ's finger and smiling up at him. Frankly, it's a new record—Mike always seems so dire and gloomy.

"I'm gonna be sticking around the arcade a bit longer, anyway. Something about a few cabinets on the fritz..." His guess is that one of the kids stuck magnets to them again. Probably not malicious; just treating them like stickers to pretty them up.

As soon as his little act of mischief is noticed, the moment the other turns around to look at him again. There is now a much tinier hat on top of his already comically small top hat. Well.. Small to him. He was sure if it were put on anyone else that it would look huge.

The spider-like animatronic's optics light up to signal that yes, he was indeed awake now. And the big guy only stares down at the other at first, before he starts to shake a little. As if he were chuckling.

Large piano teeth gnash a few times in amusement, then he raises one of his many arms up in order to pinch the small hat in his fingers and remove it.

Afterwards, the hat, now crushed, is delicately set atop Micheal's head once again where it belonged. Though his giant finger seems to linger on his head. Giving him a playful "pat" or two.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" He blurts flatly.

Okay, things are certainly weird down here, but this guy's gotta be messing with him—there's no possible way this operation's been ongoing since before civilization, but why does he sound so confident? He's probably just a good actor.

He clears his throat, composing himself with an adjustment of his tie. "...I don't know about the rest, but I could believe you not being a Case. Though, I'm unsure how you'd have gotten here." Without me noticing you on the cameras, he doesn't add.

“When was I made? That’s a tricky question.”

In his hollow eyes, it was rather comical. A denizen of another world assuming he was supposed to fit in it. Graciously, it provided him with much needed information, although he could not help but play along for a brief moment, mostly to humor himself.

“See, calendars weren’t exactly a thing when I came around. People had yet to become civilized, to innovate and build upon the world to shape it as they saw fit. That means it must have been sometime before 3000 BCE, possibly thousands upon millions of years before then.” Coolly, he weaved his fingers together, tilting his head at the perplexed creature. “So I can’t give you an exact estimate. Just that I’ve been around for eons.”

A wide grin brimmed inside. Oh, how was this poor fellow going to react? He already was throwing him for a loop, but the next part was going to be the icing on the cake.

“You are right, though. A grim reaper isn’t appropriate for a Kindergarten.” Serenely, he dropped, “Good thing I’m not one of these ‘Cases’ you’re talking about.”

if i had a nickel for every time i got violently attached to a character being manipulated by their father figure i'd have two nickels! which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice!

im not going to lie they really got me this time. oh my fucking god dude. uthban learning that his father figure is the reason for his violent state in the first place. and then he doesnt even call him his son—instead, his favorite experiment.

he clearly cared about uthban—just not in the way he thought he did on the surface. that was the tipping point. to him, he's been complicit in so much, hurt people, all for nothing. he was never going to be loved the way he wanted.

"When were you made? Are you... some kind of Grim Reaper?? That's not appropriate theming for a Kindergarten—then again, uh, not a lot of the other Cases fit very well, either... sorry."

He really should learn not to run his mouth like that. Who knows what this guy is capable of? He wouldn't put anything past this place, at this rate. He misses when things made logical sense.

As much as the very existence of this place is insulting, Michael can't deny he has a fondness for the animatronics. It's beyond him to resent them, regardless—none of this is their fault, they didn't ask to be part of the revival of a franchise that should be dead and buried for everyone's good. Were they not people, he would be seething over his designs being used and iterated on.

Music Man being one of them.

A rare smile makes its way onto his face seeing him so peaceful, lingering for a moment. How much budget did they blow on making him so big? Why? What a strange design choice. Maintenance has to be a nightmare.

Deciding he's had enough, he turns and makes to leave—

—But he swears he felt something. Why would there be a breeze in here? He turns his flashlight on and squints around—

...His posture relaxes, and he huffs in amusement up at the DJ. "I know it's fetching, but it's much too small for you, don't you think?"

A supposedly sleeping DJ rests upon his stage... Honk shoo... Honk shoo.... But just as the unexpecting night guard made his way by. He would find his hat is suddenly and sneakily removed from the top of his head.

i didnt think theyd ever do it, honestly! i thought theyd forever leave it ambiguous as to if buddy was the same boris from batim that helped henry, or a different one... but they did!!!

im so happy about this because i looove buddy/daniel so much thats my best friend... i have a lot of thoughts about him and henry and the ink demon ... so yippee !!

Bendy hadn't seen the warning signs. He just saw cartoons, like all of the other ordinary cartoons on TV. He didn't think it would become anything real, anything dangerous like his own did. How could he?

He was still fond of cartoons—it wasn't the pictures on the screen that slighted him. Ironically, they were his only comfort for a time—he would sit in his throne room and watch them over and over. Pretending he was the little devil on the screen, instead of the monster wearing a crude imitation of his face.

But one day, there was a commercial. And it reminded him all too much of Joey Drew Studios; Living, breathing cartoons walking the earth. He had to check for himself that they weren't just costumes, and that no one was being hurt.

Hand in hand with Henry, they walk into Gardenview. It's lively and colorful. He's long since gotten used to color, but it's still a bit overwhelming—it's not like he leaves the house much. He pulls his hood down a bit, leaning further into his creator's side. He squeezes the little demon's hand reassuringly, shooting him a warm smile.

Already, its damning. There's several Toons about, and they're much too expressive to be costumes, unless something's changed again without them realizing.

Bendy doesn't realize he's been staring at one—the title character Dandy, he remembers—until he's given a nudge by Henry. He squeaks and fully hides behind him. The old man chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sorry about that, he's shy." He talks about him like he's just another one the kids coming to visit… and while he is Henry's kid, it might be a little obvious that he's not like the others. Even bundled up like this, those piecut eyes are striking.

A problem child

Hooray, I finally finished another drawing. I decided to dedicate this time to the most controversial boy in Doey. I think I'll do something similar for the rest of the guys later. :ъ
