- Is a short update

- Fourth day on anxiety meds, actually feeling a little better than usual. Got a bit of Chapter 2 done, finally got to the Muzan munching part (which I’ll probably just lift from the original with a few tweaks). Then Muzan fails, everyone’s mad, and Angela finds herself serving Muzan. Whoo!

- Alright tomorrow’s Mother’s Day so don’t expect me to be able to do much. Goodnight everyone!

[07/05/2021, Friday]

- Oh wow, I was gonna have a “typed in bed” post yesterday but fell asleep before I could get to the actual typing. Whoopsie :p

- Yo, I actually made a bit of progress today! I’ve reached the part where Angela gets nommed by Muzan, only for him to discover that he doesn’t retain her memories because of spirit core bullshit infecting his cells, and I distinctly remember having fun writing this scene. Maybe too much fun. Uh, probably shouldn’t be having fun with explicitly gory scenes, but oh well. Now I’m having unfun. The opposite of fun. My head hurts from opening up a thesaurus all the time ;-;

- On a side note, I can’t wait to get my commissions back. The one for the prologue is taking the longest, but by no fault of the artist; she’s going through hard times because of you know what going on now, so I don’t want to bother her. 😌

- Also, I’m bad at visualising as I’ve discovered while ordering my third commission. Uh, yeah, it’s not beneficial for my story at all haha

- Anyways, I’ll do a little more writing before hitting the hay, so I’ll be signing off for now. Goodnight, everyone~

- Oof, late update today. But I have a good reason this time! I’ve been working on the FFN version of DHAHLT, posting the rewritten chapters, and now I’m a little loopy from exhaustion.

- Might also have to do with the fact that I just found out from my psychiatrist that I have a social anxiety disorder. Whooo

- I’ll try not to let that get me down, though! I’ve made some progress in Chapter 2’s rewrite, even more than the day before, and I’m actually getting a sense of motivation back! Hopefully I can finish this before the art commissions I got come back, because the artists are being particularly fast this time 👀

- Anyways, super tired now, will go to bed. Goodnight, everyone!

- Holy shit, today has been unbelievably hot. Like, legit melting levels of hot. I barely managed to hang onto my sanity, much less actually do any writing today. I managed to do some, but... let’s be frank, I might as well have not done anything.

- I plan to change that, though! I’m trying to push myself to write more, so that I can get the rewritten chapters out for you guys alongside commissioned artwork. I hope you guys like it, because I did put in lots of work into it (before this weird depressive slump I’m in right now) :D

- Will be going to bed now, so good day/afternoon/evening to y’all! Hopefully this headache goes away soon...

- Oookay, so as of now of me typing this, I am way more coherent than I was last night! Good! I haven’t done any writing for DHAHLT today. Not good!

- On the other hand, I discovered a new game site called PokeHeroes, which may or may not be the reason for me slacking off today. No worries though, for I will resume writing later *and* tomorrow! Oh, joys of joy!

- I’ve also been considering trying my hand at writing Pokémon (Mystery Dungeon) fics again. Or at the very least, start writing Pokémon again! Who knows? I’m trying to plan it out, but it’s a little slow atm. ^^;

- Currently don’t have my glasses on so it physically hurts to type all of this out, so I’ll end today’s report here. Here’s to hoping that I have something better to say tomorrow! Goodnight, everyone~

- Sup sup suuuup! Uh, yeah, so this tumble blog has been dead for a little while, and I was rather tempted to post this tomorrow, but I didn’t want to miss out on the first day of the month so... here I am.

- Alas, I’m way too tired now so I’m not gonna get into an in-depth explanation of what I’ve been up to for the past month, so I’ll leave that for tomorrow and just use today’s blog to assure you that yes, I’m still alive, if exhausted emotionally and physically.

• Hey guys. I know I haven’t updated in a while, but I wanna reassure everyone that it’s not because I’ve given up on the fic. I’m just taking a short break while waiting for school matters to settle. I dunno how long it’ll be, but I have been a tad demotivated, so the next chapter is definitely coming along slower than the last.

• I’ve just been so tired, you know? Probs because I’ve been picking up more hours at work while waiting for the school to get back to me, but I’d have to say that my mood’s just been in the dirt recently. Dw tho, I’m still keeping up with notebook writing (up to chapter 11 now), so at least that’s still going on.

• Chapter 10 has been going really great! I’m actually nearly done with it, although I fully expect to be revising the first half heavily, because I had no idea where I was going with it lol

• Chapter 9 is... uh, delayed for the moment, because I’ve been writing Chapter 10 and my other writing project a lot lately. But once Thursday comes around, that’ll be changing pretty quickly

• Cover art is coming along fantastically! I can’t wait to see the final result and actually use it, I’m so fucking stoked! 💙

• Finally, the end of February! Jeez, I’ve been procrastinating haaaarrrd on update logs, but thankfully I haven’t been doing the same for my actual writing! I’ve been busy busy with a bunch of writing projects (and irl business), so let’s get down to it, shall we?

• These are the notebooks dedicated to DHAHLT! Don’t mind the name stickers, I honestly don’t mind showing my actual name :p

• Gosh, the first book was an absolute unit. I managed to write Chapter 5-9 in it before running out of space. The second book is half-used, dug out from a pile of old notebooks from my primary school years. I can’t believe how long that nickname has stuck with me lmao

• This is a very new writing project! Prompt writing, where I use a prompt generator and force myself to create a story from it. I haven’t been writing as much in it now, because I’ve been sucked into DHAHLT and the next writing project I’ll be showing, but I’m planning to get back into it soon!

• As you guys can see from this page, I’ve been doing a book analysis on Handbook For Mortals. Please pray for me. I might be posting my reactions on Tumblr (on a separate blog), but for now, it’s all confined to paper :p

• Quick update before I fall silent for three days straight again

• I joined Quotev for the first time! And oh my god, I didn’t know it was a MUST to have cover art; I had to put together some quick bullshit to be able to post lmao. Hope the commission comes soon, I’m really stoked to see the final result 💙

• I’m FINALLY on chapter 10! AKA the chapter where the characters people actually care about show up. I’m nearing the halfway point of it, before the Spider arc properly kicks into motion, so whooooo. I actually think this might turn out to be one of the short chapters (maybe)

• Also making some headway on Chapter 8, although it’s going a little slow now in account of another writing project I’m dealing with (and may post on Tumblr soon).

• Will try to wrap up Chapter 8 as soon as possible, then move on to Chapter 9 aka the filler chapter coughcough

• Quick update because I’m going to sleep literally after posting this

• Chapter 9’s draft is finished! I’m already into Chapter 10, AKA the chapter where the characters readers actually care about show up

• Chapter 8 is steadily chugging along, but don’t expect it any time soon ‘cause I’m also wrapped up in other projects

• Can’t wait for the cover art, it’s gonna be so sweet :3

• Holy shit it’s been a while since I’ve updated. I have a excuse reason for it tho!

• So I’ve been swamped in school business lately. Mainly in preparation for a possible transfer into another course, preferably one with writing modules, and I’ve had a bunch of interviews as a result of that. I’ve also been working on other writing projects (mainly story analysis), and daily long walks, so my energy has been sucked dry as of late.

• BUT! I’ve also been working on DHAHLT, and you’ll be pleased to hear that the draft of Chapter 9 is probably a page or two away from completion! You’ll probably be less pleased to hear that Chapter 8 hasn’t been making much progress from physical to digital form, but there has at least been a bit of progress. Just a little

• I’ve actually finished up a notebook because of DHAHLT, and it consists of half of Chapter 5+6+7+8+half of Chapter 9, and considering it only has 200 pages, I’m impressed.

• I’ll probably post a pic of the writing I’ve done in the month of February once the end of the month rolls around, if I can remember to lol

• Also, wanna rave about story stats for a bit. Yes, I know I’m not supposed to obsess over them, but that can’t stop me from feeling fuzzy every time I see a new kudos or comment :3

• The story cover is coming along nicely too! I’m loving the line art, and I absolutely cannot wait to see it in full colour (and finally be able to use Wattpad).

• That’ll be all I’m writing for today ‘cause I have work tmr, but I’ll try to force myself to update daily again from now on!

• Technically, it’s already the next day, but fuck it I’m labelling it as Monday

• So I actually managed to get a fair bit done! I was working on DHAHLT and another side project of mine simultaneously, and both had a substantial amount written in. Side project isn’t too important, but I managed to write into the second half of Chapter 9 the Filler Chapter! And soon after that, the fated Chapter 10...

• Now that I think about it, Chapter 10’s probs gonna be hella short. It’s literally just Angela running around then running into Tanjiro and crew, but fuck it, I can’t fuck with the preset story flow

• I managed to transcribe a fair bit of Chapter 8, although not too much because my phone was on the verge of death earlier. Still, I’m approaching the second half of Chapter 8, so it might get done sooner than anticipated!

• Ooooh look, another update! Will be keeping this short, not because it’s late, but because I have a bad case of hiccups and I feel like throwing up at any minute

• So, I finished the Sumire x Inosuke oneshot! RubyRed seems to like it, thankfully, but I do think I could’ve written it somewhat better. Ah well, first time, will learn from this experience!

• Now I can get back to writing DHAHLT, which I have been today! I’ve actually changed Chapter 9 a fair bit, but essentially, it’s a transition chapter to the Chapter 10 everyone (read: me) has been waiting for. Aaaaaa I can’t wait, I really want to bring in the trio :3

• I do have to note though; the next three days will have slowed progress because I have an important interview coming up. Apologies, but real life can be a bit of a bitch sometimes ^^;

• Maybe after that, I’ll post the current notebooks in use (and the demon slayer stickers I plastered all over them lol)

• Oops, forgot to post an update yesterday. Tbf, I didn’t get much done for DHAHLT.

• On the other hand, I got quite a bit done for a prompt I’m doing for rubyredart! It’s a small one involving Inosuke and her OC, Sumire, and I’m hoping to get it down by tomorrow, as well as the start of a new side project

• This is a short update because I’m already nodding off as I type, so I’ll gush about a thing in my fic tomorrow

• Btw, I changed the summary, so if you’re wondering why the summary of DHAHLT is spazzing out so much, that’s why: I’m never satisfied with anything I do lol

• Alright, time to sleep before I hit my head on my desk
