I really do want to go back to actually using this site, like socially, but I've had enough terrible experiences that I'm kinda worried that if I put myself out there it'll happen again, and then I'll lose interest in my fandoms for a long time again

So to be clear the real problem is the latter part, where it sours me on things I love :/ and it isn't as easy as "just don't let people have that power over you!" imo, bc fandom itself is The Shared Experience

but you know. I'm working on it!

btw this flat style with no/minimal lineart is SO FUCKING FUN!! plus organizing the layers so that i can move things around like a paper doll. i'm still trying to figure out how to like...do it well, but i don't even care. it really reminds me so much of using felt and construction paper to make little 2d animal crossing dolls. nostalgia.. :)

Times up - take two! Wanted to try something with flat colors and no line art, since last time you only got sketchy line art. I didn't really know what I was doing, but I still like how it came out!

oh man, someone just reminded me of my "grizabella the Glameow cat" thing, and i totally plan to draw more of that (and i might even share it, lol)

BUT ALSO - any requests for pokemon for me to draw?

i'll give literally any request a shot, from anyone who happens to see this up until this main post is deleted... but i'm also setting a short time limit per-drawing and then posting as-is, so keep your expectations realistic i guess?
