Hmm okay so I've bathed myself in lavender oil, read a book, and I still can't sleep tonight. I'm relaxed. I'm so horribly relaxed. It's terrible that all these feelings are coming to me now and all I can be is relaxed. Still I can't sleep. I'm deeply in love, but still I'm haunted. I'm haunted by he who stole so much from me and left me nothing. I cared and nurtured. I was supportive to no fault; I loved unconditionally. I felt like we had eroded the stone of depression, but still he left me. I'll never be happier with anybody then he who I am with right now. He treats me like I want to be treated, and he never asks so much of me that my life would more or less be risked. That's how far I have been pulled under by the previous, however. I will never be able to stop loving, but maybe with enough time all that will have to matter is who I am actively able to love. Right now I'm going to hope I can fall asleep soon.

I wish that people could have the fun that we had when we would go and buy an album and lay on the floor and listen to it 50 times. And sing along with the words and just be so touched. Like I would get a Joni Mitchell album and just be like, “Don’t talk to me. Don’t even call me for three days because I am totally busy, and it’s a Godsend this record and I can’t even think about anything else right now.” And it would just be wonderful. It would be euphoric. And I’m sorry because I don’t see that now.

1992-08-05: Upside Down Intro

Um, this song didn’t get on the, uh, album.  It’s not because… well, we had a conversation.  And we decided that it wanted to do something else.  So it comes and plays sometimes, it was on a b-side. And you’ll understand when I play it, I have to play this song tonight.  Because, um, I… [“That’s just the way it is!” shouted from the crowd]  Yeah, exactly!  You are so clever.

OKAY I'M SORRY but it's beyond due. I'm tiny. I'm 124 pounds and I'm about 5'10". That's (according to google) 25 pounds lower than the suggested weight (but it's not my fault I just don't have a big appetite and I am built on a very small frame!!). I am beyond done with men's clothing stores not having anything for me. Do you know how embarassing it is to have to pull up your too-big-extra-small mens underwear every 1.271 seconds? Or how your jeans never seem to stay up no matter what. I was in Forever 21 today looking for jeans. I only found one pair of jeans below a 30 inch waist, and it was a 29. Gap has only a 28. Old Navy is a 28. I have a 26 inch waist. H&M is pretty good about carrying a 26/30 size (my size), but the from there are strangely built in the crotch (???? Like drop crotch ????) and if they do fit in the waist they're so tight that I'm disgustingly uncomfortable and it makes me insecure about my body. I prefer fitted jeans but I mean come on. I speak for myself only, but I do not feel comfortable wearing skin-tight jeans. American Eagle has 26/28 which is too short for me. I can't even find underwear that fit me, and believe me, I have tried every retailer's underwear brand. I have very short hips so anything low rise ends up like past my hips and like 1/3 of the way to my belly button. I actually have had some gap underwear that I have to fold the waistband down because they're 1/2 to my belly button. I actually almost cried in Forever 21 today when my boyfriend came back to tell me that the smallest they had in store was a 29. I own the smallest belt gap sells and I was standing there trying to hold it together while trying to keep my 27/30 jeans from Blue Notes on my hips. It was just so exhausting to hear that ANOTHER store didn't carry a size that I could even try to wear.
