Garak: I'm so tired of this life. I want to be a roomba. I want knives taped to me. And I want to be set loose.

GIVE IT 10-15 YEARS AND WE’LL ALL BE GROWN UP AND AN ENTIRE NEW SET OF KIDS WILL BE ON HERE BLOGGING ABOUT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOWS AND BANDS AND MOVIES AND BOOKS
THE ONLY THING THEY’LL STILL BE BLOGGING ABOUT THE SAME AS WE WERE IS DOCTOR WHO

Honestly? mad respect for Armin Shimerman, who saw an alien race looking like this:

and said: "let's give the Ferengi the gravitas and dignity they actually deserve". And made Quark one of the most nuanced characters in all DS9.

EVERY fucking stupid liberals university in the star trek future their fucking student sketch comedy group OF COURSE has at least one Vulcan and it's like their thing where they're like "haha I bet you wouldn't expect a VULCAN in an IMPROV group!!!!!" as if this hasn't become such a fucking tired cliche like literally since 2063 every fucking comedy show has the token Vulcan to be the straight man. you're doing nothing. call me when you guys make an effort to actually include tellarites in the writing room instead of confining them to punch lines. and to be honest with you guys your Vulcan isn't even that good. his performance was highly derivative of T'min's work in the big bang theory 3 (the third big bang yheory. they make a lot of sitcom sequels in the future)

I’ve certainly never been trained as a repairman. In fact, I’m not even sure in theory how a sewing machine works, and I have two left hands, to boot. Despite all that, though, with the help of my trusty screwdriver and the patient instruction of Johnny Sweder, a local Viking service representative, I’ve been able to keep four machines running for the past six years —and one of those units was used daily, often by novice seamsters and seamstresses! Better still, my repair bill for all four machines during those six years totaled $16 for parts.

I used to be a proficient googler who never wasted a word but since Google is near useless no matter how good you are at it now I have reverted to just typing in entire questions like an old person

Pompom Pillow
Beloved Tumblr community,
I made a tremendous pompom pillow during the pandemic, and I’m very proud of it—it’s about 20 pounds of yarn, polyfill, and tears I guess—but unfortunately my cats both love to play with string (I made the pillow before moving in with/adopting the cats). I have never been able to put it on a couch to enjoy because I’m worried they’ll rip it apart, or our boy will barf on it after he eats his sister’s food.
If you are in the DC Metro area, could you take in my monstrosity (for free)? We could meet in public.
If you are outside the DC Metro area but within the US, I could ship it to you and I will cover the costs, I would just like my giant art project to have a good home where it can be appreciated.
Thank you.
