Announcement:

Hey everybody, I wanted to release the Demo consisting of Prologue, and 1/2 Chapter 1. You eventually remember. That would have been over 60k words.

I added quite some lore and content in the last weeks, which means refining it all will take a while to make it smooth and "interesting enough". Especially since it is in huge parts Childhood only, I want to make sure it is intriguing enough to keep y'all hooked. I want to take the time. Therefore, I decided I will publish the Prologue alone at first. It will be "quite short". But I will feel better when that neverending weight comes off my shoulders and Dereliction is finally out in the wild. Also I think it will be nice to get some feedback on the vibes, characters and MC early on to adapt details if necessary.

Then I can focus on cleaning up the rest without you wondering if there will ever be a demo.

That anger

"I brought it up because you’re becoming him. Every time you let that anger take the wheel. Every time you think pushing someone away makes you strong. And because I..." He cuts himself off, not because he’s afraid but because he’s said enough. He straightens. "Call me what you like." His tone is flat again now. "Asshole. Monster. I’ve been worse things to better people."

A basin. A cloth.

If I hurt them, I must soothe them. If I used them, I must tend them. And if they let me in, I must prove I deserve to stay.

They saw....

[...] “You didn’t touch them. You didn’t speak inappropriately. You didn’t stay behind closed doors.”

A pause.

“But you shared a cup of something warm, in a cold, empty hall. With no one else around. You sat with them like…”

She stops herself and a flicker of pain passes behind her eyes. Then she finishes, softly:

“…like they were yours.”

[redacted1]’s jaw twitches.

[redacted2] steps closer, her tone hardening—not cruel, but unyielding.

“What exactly are you doing, [redacted1]?” [...]

“Is that what you want, [redacted2]?” he says lowly, voice cracked. “Do you want me to say it?”

She doesn’t answer. Because she doesn’t need to.

And so—he does.

He steps forward just a little, barely a pace, just enough to move into the edge of firelight.

“Yes. I care for them. Yes, I’m too close. Yes, it started before either of us had the decency to name it. No, I haven’t laid a hand on them. Not in the way you fear.”

He says it clearly.

But then, after a pause—

He looks her in the eye, voice low. Honest.

“But I think about it. I think about them every damn day. Every moment I see them walking down those halls like a blade someone tried to break and failed. I watch them struggle not to unravel, and I watch myself wanting to reach out. And I don’t. I don’t. Because I know what I am.”

He exhales.

It's not over until it's over...

He pauses, looking straight at you.

“You cannot heal by isolation. You cannot grow by starvation. And you will never become who you’re meant to be if you refuse every hand that reaches for you.”

Have you thought maybe doing a NSFW Alphabet for the ros? If you don't want to thats totally fine 🙂

Hey there! I only once did a NSFW alphabet for my other demo, for one single RO... and it was way more work than I thought 🤔 Even though it was a lot of fun 😏...

I could see myself doing them a bit later for sure, but not at this moment.

Personally I love when authors answer the scenario type questions. Like crush stage vs in relationship. My favorite because we get to learn more about the ro personalities 💜 not a whole page but maybe a sentence or 2

I always love those short scenario asks. Unfortunately a lot of the times I get too inspired and would want to write full pages 😅

Gonna need to practice my self control 😉

At the moment I am juggling Life, PiA and Dereliction. Tons of things happening irl, BUT I am still busy and enjoying my IF stories 🥰 So don't worry.

I just wonder... how could I possibly make your stay on the blog more pleasant... or is there any content, specific type of update etc. which you'd like to see here?

Since I am still in the writing / editing phase I am not sure what to post here atm, so please, let me know if you have any questions or wishes.

First and foremost, I’d like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful time ringing in 2025 and are starting the year with energy and enthusiasm. Regardless of how last year turned out for you...whether it was a fantastic year or one you’d rather forget – I sincerely hope that this year becomes your best one in a long time, perhaps even the best ever. One thing is for sure: you made my last year truly unforgettable, and I’m endlessly grateful for that.

You gave me the opportunity to share my story with the world, accompanied me with your enthusiasm, made me laugh with your Qs more times than I can count, and occasionally even brought a blush to my face. It was an incredibly amazing year in this regard, and I can hardly wait to make 2025 even more extraordinary. This year, there will be plenty of updates, both here and on my other blogs!

But for now, focusing on PIA... [… while putting together the FAQs , which you’ll find here on the blog later today... ] I could hardly believe all that has happened. Some asks may have slipped through the cracks, but I’m glad I compiled the FAQs for you. Now that the demo is out (WOOT WOOT), I think it’ll be sweet to revisit or discover some of the asks and snippets anew.
