Seemingly out of nowhere, Mishio brandishes a large bag. He opens it to pull out a large suture, proving that it is indeed filled with medical supplies.

" he tilts his head slightly to the side as he looks down at her and questions, " Tell me, did you have much contact with the doctor as he was dying? Did you have the chance to watch him deteriorate? It was not a pretty sight. "

The memory is forever burned into Mishio's mind. He was treated to a front row seat to the entire show from beginning to end. The disease Locklyn had succumbed to was all too familiar to Mishio already. He'd heard stories of his parents' death and read numerous papers on its effects while growing up. But watching his beloved mentor fall apart sticks in his mind much better. The only thing that could compare to the agony of watching his slow death, was knowing that in only a matter of years, he would be in the same place.

He continues speaking, clearly not caring enough about her answer to wait and hear it.

" His illness...It was a hereditary condition. As such, it is incredibly difficult to treat and currently impossible to cure. But, he insisted to me many times that between the two of us, we could discover something. Clearly, we failed to do so in time. But still, I hold that goal of his very tightly. " Mishio explains, " I could achieve it much faster if I had someone who could help me get my hands on supplies. Or more importantly, test subjects. Surely you have enough strength to accomplish that much for me. For him? "

Ada take a few deep and shuddering breaths. A task honestly sounds really nice. Everybody has been so careful with her. Mostly they've been scared of loosing their luck.

She has been on thin ice with her superiors lately. Maybe helping out their newest contact will help smooth things over.

Hiatus Notice!

Ah...this was inevitable, I'm so sorry. I've got a lot more work stuff going on than I thought, I'm so stressed if I don't spend all my free time trying to relax I feel like I might just pass out. I've been trying really hard to find a balance between trying to motivate myself to write and not pressuring myself but all I do is make myself nervous and feel bad.

I'll try not to be gone too long! I don't want to lose too may followers, I have really loved writing my boys with everyone. I'll be lurking around, as I love to read all of your headcanons and posts and such ;; and I'll honestly still be staring at my drafts.
