Venus in the 8th.

I think venus in the 8th house men and women tend to really gravitate towards withdrawn or shy types mainly because they value decoding and digging that comes with understanding those types of people. The idea of a quiet or unknown relationship is usually what they prefer and I used to always chalk it up to the 8th house influence over venus making the love nature more private, but in my observations? I think it’s less about “I want to keep you hidden” and more about “you’re mines and mines alone and I don’t want anyone invloved in what we have.” It’s not that they don’t value their lovers enough to show them to the world, it’s more so that they’re so protective and possessive over their lovers and values that the outside world becomes a threat to this security. For them venus, Love, intimacy, romance all become a private act only allowed between their lovers and them.

People often compare this to Scorpio venus and That’s actually where the line had to be drawn. Scorpio venus is intense, passionate and ardent in love but that doesn’t always mean that they hide lovers or struggle with the ability to loosen their grip!
