My birthday was like, yesterday and I got two new games for my Switch, they have different vibes but I love them both, one I may gush about more then the other tho, these two games are

The LM DM remake for the switch and Princess Peach: Showtime!

I think I make it quite obvious which I gush over more due to just what I usually post on this blog.

My thoughts on both games tho,

Princess Peach: Showtime! Is a fun little 3D platformer, I have beaten the first boss and so far, I quite like the game, helps that I played the demo before hand

LM DM HD is as fun as the 3DS version, but with infinitely better motion controls, like they don't suck ass and I can actually get across things without feeling any gamer rage! Oh the Vault is also greatly improved too and I can't wait to see my favorite ghosts with their new models. I can tell that they updated the models just by looking at the Hider, in the 3DS, the Hiders had a very polygonal tail, whilst in this remake the Hiders look much more like how I draw their tails, very sleek and snake-like... Yeah it's clear that I have some favoritism going on here, lol

Expect some cool Possessor OCs based on the plays from PP:ST (Princess Peach: Showtime)! Thank my GF for that idea BTW!

Percy’s Research: Old Clockworks - A passing ghost

”I got up because I heard a strange noise, so I went to go investigate, it seems to be from a ghost, I didn’t get a good look at them, though the color looked familiar”

“I’ll go follow them, see if I can get a better understanding of this ghost, if only I could have gotten a better view of them”

I know that my blog is mostly LM, BUT THIS NEEDS to be spread, I've actually gotten my own Discord account hacked by these scams, the first one mentioned is in fact a scam too, so, please be on the look out and stay calm, if your account does get targeted by these, just remember, Discord only will contact you via Email, not via Discord itself.

I have a quick announcement to make

So regarding on my last post about my discord accidentally getting reported, it was not true.

It turns out that a small virus is going around in every discord server/account.

So if you receive any suspicious messages from someone claiming that they “accidentally reported your discord account”, that they want you to “test their indie game”, or any weird links, please do not engage with them, chances are they’re trying steal your account, bait you into downloading some type of malware, etc.

I do apologize for any kind of confusion inconvenience or scare to anyone.

All I'm saying is that please be safe out there while that virus is going around and be on the look out for any suspicious activity.

Percy’s Research: Old Clockworks - Strange markings

”I have encountered a Sneaker that’s unlike what I have been, this Sneaker seems to have these strange markings all over his body, I was concerned at first, knowing that a Ghost’s ectoplasm is usually a lighter color then their body, but these markings don’t seem to be causing this Sneaker any discomfort, how bizarre”

“I should do further research on these markings at a later date, maybe if I gather more information about these markings, maybe other ghosts have them too”

“So far, I have only encountered Greenies, Sneakers, a couple of Slammers, some Gold Greenies and this odd guy, I’ll be exploring the rest of this mansion and giving my notes when I can, I’ll write more tomorrow, need to get some rest, even little Hera is sleepy.”

Percy’s Research: Old Clockworks - Arival

“Arriving at the Old Clockworks, this place is run down and is covered in sand, the local spirits seem quite friendly though, so that’s good.”

“Hera came with, she never leaves my side, the broken bar at the entrance was something, easy enough to go under, thankfully and I am so glad that the clock door is already opened, I don’t know how I would have opened it by myself.”

“So far, I have encountered Greenies and Sneakers, let’s see what other ghosts live here, but that will be tomorrow, it was a pain to get here in the first place.”

Hey, look another death

This time it’s Colleen’s death, she’s the first of the G.H.O.S.T.S. Squad to die. She drowned because she can’t swim, causing the squad to break apart, some go to try and bring the leader back, others move on, then there’s some who just… do their own thing.

Like I have said before, Hannah spends most of her time in the Studio, she does call Gloomy Manor her home. She made the table she’s using in this picture herself, she also made her stool with some help, she’s drawing, what she’s drawing, who knows.

Straight up self insert

meet Hannah, she’s a Hider artist, she’s a self insert character because of reasons.

Hannah is a kind and soft spoken girl who doesn’t do well in social environments, she’s usually just hiding out in the Studio room of the Gloomy Manor, though don’t try to rush her, she will get mad. She loves all things artistic ranging from painting to music, dance, modeling, woodworking and even just plain ‘ol regular drawing, she loves it all, she even sewed her shirt and smock from fabrics she found in Evershade.

Before the events of Dark Moon, she was only really known as just the one painter Hider in the Studio, not much is really known about her, she never even mentioned her name so no one even properly knew her.

When the Moon broke, she is one of the first few Hiders Luigi encounters, she’s seen painting the portrait of another Hider, though this Hider is rather impatient and gets on her nerves, so she painted a mustache on him out of annoyance, she then spent most of her time in the vault. {Like how I do whilst playing the game, like seriously I love the vault in LM DM}

After the moon is fixed, she realizes that maybe she should probably express herself more, since she now knows that living humans are also present in the Valley she calls home. She consults the only women she knows in the entirety of Evershade, The Three Sisters, only one was available to ask at the time though, Lucinda. Hannah basically got the idea of Accessorizing like how she did when alive from her, though since Hannah never wore any hair accessories, she had to compromise, so she searched for some medium cyan and Forest green fabrics and threads to make a tee-shirt and smock.

Well, this got morbid quick

Sophia’s death, she froze to death in the Secret Mine whilst searching for red crystals. Her BFF told her about many ghost related things. I don’t have anything else to say, but this is a pretty morbid picture tho, because I wanted to draw this. I had fun drawing this, expect more morbid pictures from me, this is one of the less bloody things, frozen means no blood, I don’t know who I’ll draw the death of next.

Even Ghosts got to look good

Brianna is odd for her ghost type, she always puts on her makeup before she goes out, other Sneakers are confused by how much time she spends looking in a mirror. She just wants to look her best, even though she’s dead… died from makeup… she clearly didn’t care and still wears makeup in her afterlife. As anyone who’s played LM: DM would know, Sneakers are easy to find via reflective surfaces, like mirrors, the can’t scare you when you can see where they are being of a mirror. Brianna doesn’t care and uses mirrors anyways.

Luigi’s Mansion Fan Ghost Sub-Type - The Shadow Creeper

Shadow Creepers are small, black ghosts, like the main type, Shadow Creepers are gooey ghosts that are usually on the ground, but unlike the main type, Shadow Creepers have wings that allow them flight, so long as they are healthy, unfortunately, due to ghost hunters, many Shadow Creepers are unwell and sickly due to being deemed a highly valuable variety of ghost, many have been injured by ghost hunters, which diminishes the “value” of these poor ghosts. These injured ghosts bear a striking resemblance to a unique individual called Bogmire, if I recall correctly. These ghosts are not trophies for vile ghost hunters to flaunt, they have feelings too, the ghost hunting makes them unable to fly, thus these small ghosts have to use other means to protect themselves, hence why some have used faux shadows of themselves to distract whoever is hunting them, I have been trying to nurse as many as I can back to health, but there’s so many, the ghost hunting must have been what caused Bogmire to look the way he does.

Shadow Creepers are a rare Sub-type of Creeper, weather they be rare naturally or by Ghost Hunters capturing as many as they can find, these little ghosts are friendly normally, but seem to be easily frightened by humans, most likely due to the over hunting of them, so I had to wear my disguise.

The disguise looks silly, but it works, ghosts trust me more when in this weird outfit.

there are some Shadow Creepers that aren’t scared and there are some that are flat out aggressive towards humans, those nasty ghost hunters have done way too much damage to these otherwise friendly ghost sub-type, making it hard for me and other true researchers to do our job.

Luigi’s Mansion Ghost Head-cannons PT11 - Some Sub-Types

Some ghost types can have Sub-types, these are all the ones I have recorded so far. There might be even more sub-types that are yet to be discovered! What makes a sub-type, well a Sub-type is two categories,

1, Appearances are different from main type, this can range from color, shape, size and more, though it has to still be similar enough to the main type that they can be classified as a sub-type. 2, Behavior, they have to have a different behavior then the main type, this can range from slight differences to major differences depending on how different the appearance is to the main-type.

The ghost types shown here so far are The Greenies with the Sub-type being the Gold Greenies, the Creepers with the Sub-type being the winged Shadow Creepers, the Slammers with the Sub-type being the Hammers, the Poltergeists with the Sub-type being the Ancient Poltergeists, and the Portrait Ghosts with the Sub-type being the Valley Portraits.

Gold Greenies are golden Greenies who seem to be much more shy and scared of things.

Shadow Creepers will get their own entry.

Same with Hammers as I need to do further research on them.

Ancient Poltergeists are blue and seem to have more powers then the main-type, quite odd, I should do further research on this later.

Valley Portraits are rather different looking from regular portrait Ghosts, maybe this is due to the power of the Dark Moon, as much as I want to look into this and find out the cause of why these Portrait Ghosts look different in Evershade compared to everywhere else, that would mean killing people and that’s kinda really wrong, so I have to find another way to research this that is ethical.

Luigi’s Mansion Ghost Head-cannons PT10 - Da Fuck are Genetics

So, Ghost Type rarely matters for ghost family dynamics, as seen, we have the families of every Possessor and a trio of brothers. Two of the same ghost type can have a child that’s a very different type, though I have never seen a Portrait Ghost come from a pairing of non-portrait ghosts, nor have I seen a Possessor parent have their children be any other type besides Possessor or Hybrid so it’s safe to assume that there’s a genetic hierarchy.

first family is the Grouchy Possessor’s, he’s a Possessor, purple in color, his parents are both Greenies however, those Greenie’s names are Clara and Danny, they don’t seem to have passed on any traits to their son, odd.

second family is the Harsh Possessor’s, another Possessor, green in color, his parents are a Sneaker and a blue ghost known as a Goob, the Sneaker’s name is Belle, whilst the Goob’s name is Robby, again, no physical traits, but there is a gentlemanly attitude that seems to have been learned from the father.

third family is the Overset and Tough Possessors’, more Possessors, Overset is a reddish orangey color, whilst his older sister is pure white, their parents are a Hider and an orange Possessor, the Hider is named Darla whilst the Orange Possessor is named Darren, Darren is a really nice guy, found out that Overset’s name is Wyatt and Tough’s name is Medousa. Unlike the other two families, they seem to have the same crooked central horn as their father, plus they are both Possessors like their father, seemingly the horn shape of a Possessor is genetically passed down to their young.

fourth family is the Shrewd Possessor’s, more Possessors, Shrewd apparently has a twin brother, an identical twin, which is kinda odd to see as it’s quite rare, let’s call this twin the Scornful Possessor until we find out his actual name. Their parents are a Valley Portrait and a Sneaker, Valley Portraits are a sub-type of Portrait Ghosts exclusive to Evershade, the Valley Portrait is named Sarrah and the Sneaker is named… Shuu… I wish I was joking, but that’s his actual name, it’s funny, don’t get me wrong, but yeah, his name is Shuu. Once again, no traits are passed down.

let’s get away from the Possessor for a little bit, the fith family is of the Ghost Brothers, these brothers are a Greenie named Alex, a Slammer named Harry and a Gobber named Jacob, their parents are a Sneaker and a Greenie, the Sneaker is named Hershy and the father is named Gordon. First time we get to see multiple ghost types for this, only one brother has any resemblance to their parents and that’s the eldest, Alex, being a Greenie just like his father.

now sorta back to the Possessors, sixth family the Flower Twins, a pair of hybrid twins, their parents are a Poltergeist and a Creeper, the Poltergeist is named Margret and the Creeper is named Clyde. This time they do have traits from their parents, they are dual-toned like their mother and they clearly have a face like their father, yet they have some very strong Possessor traits, how Hybrids come to be is still a mystery, unfortunately, but maybe researching more into the Flower Twin’s family will help to unravel this mystery.

Got bored, Drew Bogmire and an OC

I was bored, so I drew my favorite ghost from the first Luigi’s Mansion game, Bogmire, he kinda looks like a Creeper if it was gooier, I love this guy. Also the OC is an unnamed character of mine, she only has a title, “The Daughter of Shadows”, here she’s depicted as just a little child, past for her and her father!

I am pretty sure I can go on a long talk about Bogmire, I love this ghost so much, but I’ll leave that for another day, when I talk about my headcannon for Ghost Sub-Types, because that’s when I’ll talk about What I think Bogmire is.

“The Daughter of Shadows” is a hybrid ghost, half Portrait Ghost and half… well I can’t reveal it just yet, but it’s basically what her daddy is.

Why is it that when I am really damn bored that that’s when I get the motivation to actually draw shit and write these longer posts.
