(Chapter 3 Alinivar is standing before Giegue on Saturn, while surrounded by the collapsed bodies of his recently Insanity Fog'd friends.)

G: Impressive, mook.  How did the others go insane, and you didn't?  If I didn't know better, I might think I was off my game today...

A: *nervously rubbing behind his head after a Lifeup Alpha* Uh, I, I dunno, luck?

G: *ominous hovering and staring intensifies*

A: Or, no, no no!  What I mean is, uh, maybe you and I, um... *points a tentacle forward and feigns confidence as best he can* Maybe you and I just DON'T have that kind of relationship!

G: *stares for several seconds, while continuing to hover* - *flicks tail once* Explain.

A: What I mean is, maybe I'm just not, uh... CRAZY about you? Eh? Eeeeh? *toothy grin and pistol finger tentacles*

G: ... *glares* 

A: *grins sideways and looks away*

G: *Incomprehensible Zaps for the K.O.*

Greyface (on phone): Yessir, Master Giegue!  I'm here in Summers right now, but I don't see any apples.

Giegue (via phone): *squeaky indistinct words of rage and intermittent sounds of things in his vicinity being crushed by other things*

Greyface: *sideways glance* Oh.  Then I guess I shouldn't bother going up to FoggyLand to check Winters either?

(Greyface's phone produces a loud wave of Giegue's attack sound from Mother 1, before exploding into several charred pieces.)

Greyface: A-ah... okie dokie then. *glances nervously around* Hey, look, a food cart!

I am entertained by the idea of Giygas trick-or-treating.  Seeping into the fabric of reality and absorbing all of the candy (and possibly all the people) in a rapidly expanding area, and being like, "I feel g...o...o...d..."

Just, yanno, doing Giygas things.

Meanwhile Niiue is showing off his Ninten costume and trying to get the Applechasers on board with dressing up, while the universe is about to end in a haze of redness and candy corn.

That moment when

I listen to a one-hour extension of Undertale’s “SAVE The World” while working on a project, and then when it ends I’m like.  “Woah... I just listened to ‘SAVE the World’ for an hour.”

And then I’m like, “I am okay with this” and put on a quarter hour of “Hopes and Dreams + SAVE the World” as an encore.  And by the time that ends I am going to be done working for the moment and will totally play “Last Goodbye.”

So I’m doing LFR in WoW and

somehow YouTube’s autoplay makes its way from a DuckTales remix to “It is Finished” from Mother 3.  So I’m sitting there healing the raid and just start weeping at my desk.

It occurs to me

Alinivar is the monk/bard hybrid I have always wanted ever since I played EverQuest many moons ago. Tentacle martial arts + music weapon is such a fun combination. Granted it felt kind of iffy at first, but ahhh, by a quarter of the way in, I was loving it.
