It’s a been a while since I’ve been on tumblr. I first feel in love with your music back in 2008 when I was introduced to love story and you belong with me on a school trip bus ride. This was when I first moved to Canada. I remember going home to look up the lyrics so I can fit in. We didn’t have enough internet so whenever my mom would hear your songs on the radio she would wake me up or let me know and we’d blast your songs. I slowly turned my little sister into a swifty.
Fast forward to 2018, I was finally able to score tickets to Reputation and had AN AMAZING time. Seeing you live was a dream come true. And pretty exactly one year later, @taylornation messaged me to join for your secret sessions for you Lover album at your Nashville location. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it as my cousin was getting married in Sri Lanka and I was a bridesmaid so I wasn’t able to go. I have never been so heart broken.
I know that you’d never see this but in case you do, I just want to let you know how much your music has helped me over the years. Listening to all the love songs when I was in love and then listening to all the break up songs especially on TTPD when experiencing heartbreak. The prophecy is definitely very relatable. My sister, my best friend and I are soooo excited to see you live again Toronto N6 (November 23rd) all the way from section 516 Row 17 seats 13-15! We will be dancing all night with you!
Thank you for all that you do! I hope I get to meet you one day, I’m so heartbroken about to Secret Sessions.

Hi Taylor! I just wanted to say how much you helped me get through such a hard time when I was in grade 6. It was when I first moved to Canada from and I didn’t know anyone. One day during the bus ride on a school trip someone played you belong with me and everyone knew the song except me. But I loved it. So I went home and found the song on YouTube and listened to it until I learned all the words (and used up the internet lol) so whenever your song played on the radio in the morning my mom would wake me up so I can sing along. It was amazing! My English wasn’t good and I was the only brown girl in my grade. I felt like an outsider. Some boys bullied me and took my accent as joke and said some cruel things that still haunt me to this day. But your music helped me get through all that. For all of that I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you so much @taylorswift @taylornation
