hello anon! thank you for reaching out to me, but i’m not really looking for groups right now. i don’t think my health or my school schedule will allow me to keep up with the attention i think a group deserves.

     “I don’t know.” The question seems silly, now--as he says, why wouldn’t he? Even so, it’s reassuring to hear. “But I would understand if you couldn’t.” They may be young, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have duties of their own. And, well, given how things are these days, Camilla supposed that it wasn’t unreasonable for Ranulf to be have been given similar instructions. 

     “But I’m glad that you’ll be there. It wouldn’t be the same otherwise.” She pauses, wrinkling her nose. “That, and mother is inviting all of those stuffy nobles for my official party.”

                         With a flick of his wrist, an ace of hearts slid down from his robe and a coy smirk danced it’s way onto his face. Just as quick as it appeared, the card disappeared from existence, never to be seen again.  

                 “Call it a uh…contingency plan if you will.”

     “Well, aren’t you naughty.” Though she supposes she shouldn’t be surprised. Camilla isn’t so sheltered to believe that gamblers always play fair. Poor Arthur never stood a chance, even if lady luck decided to smile upon him for once. 

     “But it never hurts to be prepared. They say all is fair, don’t they?”

“Big sister, you aren’t running a fever are you?”

   “I only tease out of love, Leo.” She could pinch his cheeks just to add to the effect, but she thinks she’s embarrassed enough for one evening. “I don’t see much of the point in it, otherwise.” 

   “A fever? How sweet of you to worry, but I’m in perfect health. Do I appear ill?”
