I will be extremely blunt.

I don't like what Gough and Millar have done with Enid in this second season.

Not the WHAT they did but the HOW.

Please keep this in your heads because far too many are thinking otherwise.

Are you OK with Enid being written by making her dependent on other men?

That she can only shine when Wednesday and Agnes are around is not a red flag to you?

I'm annoyed by this, Enid isn't just about gossip and ‘’men‘’ (even here Gough and Millar's veil of internalised homophobia can be felt), she has her relationship with Wednesday, the investigations, and ALSO her own group of werewolves.

And instead we have to sit through a panned Enid because the two 50 year old writers wanted to put in a fucking love triangle for the umpteenth time.

I still like Enid, but I want the writers to stop putting her in contexts where she has to depend on men.

Straight teen drama of this type sucks, Gough and Millar don't know how to write it and we had confirmation of that from the first season.

My 2 cents on the matter.

And incidentally

Criticising the character =/= hating Enid

If it was up to me I would have happily watched the werewolf group if only it wasn't covered by that teen drama crap.
