This is a great edit! It also came across my dash when it had just over a hundred notes because none other than *Ryan North* reblogged it. Heck yeah. Honestly, I see the ship, but I also have full respect for people who feel the friendship vibes more strongly (here's to healthy representations of friendship in media). I think it's cool that it's left ambiguous and/or not addressed! It's a weird soup of "this isn't a side of the characters we're exploring but it can be there if you want it to be". My personal headcanon is that SG is simply too busy compassionately solving crime that she doesn't realize what's going on until it's been 20 years and they have several cats and a house and the same last name.

So this squancy edit has been 97% done for like 7 months… I finally took the 10 minutes to finish it…

Tabitha Scarlet: She has devoted her entire life to a job she hates out of a crushing sense of familial obligation. She's terrified that if she ever takes a break or stops being so harsh the whole town will fail. There's only one person who actually likes and cares for her, and she refuses to see her because her abusive mother forbade it. She cries herself to sleep every night. She lives entirely on Mac n Cheese, peanut butter, and chocolate banana icecream. The best life she can imagine for herself is being a bank teller.
