Tweak of my travelling story #1
Hi, my name is Dhananjay ,ever since i was little i was fascinated by animals and the wilder one's some how always took my fancy. I grew up in the 90s and watching jungle book on the Sunday morning was the weekend knob. Since then i promise my self that someday i would visit the magical jungle portrait book. This is my story fulfilling a childhood dream and checking off that bucket less item.
I hatched this plan with my fella to embark this journey ,to explore eastern ghats of Odisha. Since then other my fella mates drenched in this plan too. We geared up with our riding accessories and dived into the journey with the crack of dawn. So with four motorcycle and a gang of eight adventure enthusiast started our journey from Bhubaneshwer to Chilika lake, I was on my white swanky motorcycle Apache RTR 180 with a pillion rider. Long distance bike riding is been a crucial part of my childhood . This journey come a long way to shaping my wonderla spirit, in a beautiful country like ours "trust me" their is nothing better then exploring the scenic, sublime scenery.
It was a winter morning visibility was low, so we were rolling our wheels very carefully ,by riding 50 odd kilometers we halted for breakfast and two of ours riders went to petrol filling station. We had a belly full Puri and Dalma as its a best odisha cuisine and with in no time we were back on the road. I have done too many expedition of two wheels and driving with so many was new and reassuring. With passing each kilometers we reached brackish water lagoon or largest water lagoon in India called as Chilika. During winter 160 species of migratory birds call it as their home and the amazing fact is, its a part where salt and fresh water merges so it make ideal condition for life.
As soon as we parked our bike, we unhooked our riding gears and clicked some snaps and marched ahead, then booked a boat never the less it was giving feeling like a yacht and bowed to bigrock then to "Kali jaie" Temple. After we headed to Nalbana Sanctuary which is in the central part of Chilika. Our boat rider managed to filmed beautiful birds to our eyes and camera, most of them come from a way distance Europe and Central Asia, right then two little fella were spotted -Chilika shy mammal "Irrawaddy Dolphin"all we saw is dozzle fin and tail fluke. As the view turned to pitch black and the temperature  plummeted to winters best we pulled our self's to the coast line within no time.
By now the evening arrived their was a nip in the air however the moonlight was the welcome sign from the jittery cold as arrived again. We geared up again to give a smooth end to this ride, as we arrived near to Bhubaneshwer we could spot a bear crossing its pedestrain ....Finally we arrived to our home. Reaching soon we had belly full cook food and entered into the coasy warm blanket for a good night sleep.
Thank you
