the films have obvious parallels, but they were totally different. arjun kapoor could've never pulled off ram and parineeti could've never done leela. at least right now in their acting careers.
i love both the movies (ishaqzaade more), but comparing them is worthless. they're both different, and each pair could not have subsituted the other.
to all the people saying that arjun kapoor and parineeti chopra acted way better in ishaqzaade, you’re fucking delusional. I love arjun and parineeti to death and ishaqzaade is indeed one of my favorite films but ranveer and deepika were brilliant and way more better. no one and I mean no one could have done ram leela like these two. memorable performances.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's best.
SLB + Shakespeare = GOLD.
If you were questioning going, you really, really should. The Deepika Padukone/Ranveer Singh jodi is beyond worth the big-screen experience.
Excellent acting, awesome directing, and pretty visuals everywhere.
