So not a lot of people know about Wolf’s Rain, and the fandom for it is pretty much dead. It really never got the recognition it deserved earlier on. It is an older anime, it came out around 2003, but had some of the most beautiful artwork for it’s time, and still has an original story.
For those who don’t know, Its basically this post apocalyptic world, where wolves have been “extinct’ for centuries. Instead the magic of the lunar flowers gave them a human appearance to allow them peace among humans. The legend says the lunar flowers will guide the wolves to “paradise” when the world ends, the last lunar flower being Cheza, the one that scientists turned into a human.
I mean like look at the art

Some great antagonists, some that mass slaughter wolves to find the chosen one, and some who go psychotic trying to take paradise to cure them.
