Sooooo… a 4th instalment of my guilty pleasure Disney films came out recently, and I just had to draw Zed and Addison because I love them, they're so cute ! Especially in this one, all their scenes were there to kill me, I swear (and of course I have the songs on loop).

More Arcane (Jayvik) related content is on the way, I just really wanted to draw these two lovebirds 🥰

I recently watch Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires and it got me back on my Addison Wells kick.

I am sad to possibly see the chapter of Zed and Addison close, but I am glad that they are end game. The movie made me go back and watch some clips from the previous films and it reminded me of how much Addison reminds me of myself.

One of the most beautiful things about the art of storytelling through filmmaking is how certain characters allow us to see little glances of ourselves through. Seeing Addison become comfortable with her place in the Zombies universe in the fourth film was so satisfying. She is no longer searching for who she is and where she belongs. As someone who constantly struggles finding where they belong and struggled with competitive environments that strived for a "perfect" look, seeing Addison break out of her need to be "perfect" and be herself was great.

I am very thankful the Zombies movies for giving me such a titular character to gravitate towards in moments when I feel uncertain in myself or my place in the world. Addison will forever remain one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.

guys guys guys. zed didn't ask addison if she would still love him if he was a worm. he said "if i was a worm, please do not feel obligated to still love me" because he has a hero complex and deep-rooted insecurities and anxieties about not being strong enough for the people he cares for. hope this helps

Im just thinking about how the travelers first map is a Justin Timberlake song, an older one specifically, and Wanderlusts is a Justin Timberlake song, but a new one. It's a very small connection, but still worth pointing out

I'm watching Zombies 4 and it's absolutely fascinating how Zed and Addison introduce themselves.

"I'm Zed. I'm a zombie."

"I'm Addison. I'm a cheerleader."

It makes sense, but it does speak volumes as to what they value most about themselves, even as Addison has spent the past three movies trying to figure out who she is and being a cheerleader is still more important to her.

So... the Ain't No Doubt About It reprise scene was definitely akin to a proposal, right? I can't be the only one who thought that, right?

You guys ever noticed how Zed and Addison never actually sang Someday out in the broad daylight?

💚Z1: They're singing inside the school before they even actually got together

💜Z2: They sang it at night during the dance

💙Z3: It was nighttime and Zed & Addison weren't together for that song

❤️Z4: In the cave and ZED😭

But when they sang Ain't No Doubt About It, they were finally side by side out in the broad daylight🩷🩷🩷

They also sang the song without all the doubts they had in Z3

"I guess" "I hope" "But we're 17" "Every every time?"

Showing that they're finally confident definitely in love with each other and THESE TWO I CAN'T 😭💚🩷💚🩷
