I do hope to. But I am what you call broke. I’m just getting out of high school and immediately moving out to go into college. So I’m reaching out to multiple artists who are open for free commissions to see if they’d be interested. I really want you guys to have a face for the characters, plus to help set certain scenes I have planned.

You mentioned the ARG was partly inspired by your mixed feelings on AI. What are those feelings exactly?

Ai as a tool can certainly be an extremely useful tool that I do think has the right to exist with limitations. However, it’s the replacement of humanity that people are lumping in with it that I hate. Stolen art, replicating voices, codependency on chatbots. But, in some ways, I can’t be entirely mad at all the people who do these things. I think these people who misuse Ai to replace human experiences are just.. going through stuff. I can’t comprehend the idea of someone who truly believes that something generated by a computer is better than art made with the soul of a human, unless they were struggling with connecting with their own humanity. As someone who often feels like a spectator in my own life, ai seems almost alluring so often. Because it offers a replacement. It’s just giving your brain that rush of dopamine that causes it to become addicting. (Warning for talking about pornography) A good comparison is porn. Porn is objectively bad for your brain and many studies show this. But it’s addictive because 1. Of the constant dopamine rush and 2. A replacement for human connection that so many people struggle with. A replacement for humanity. (And I also think that’s kind of why so much ai art comes out highly sexual, as well..) That’s why I have mixed feelings on AI. Because it makes me sad how people have lost touch with themselves and humanity as a whole.

Are you aware of the "hoeeeeee" cypher translation that's become a bit, this is such a stupid question but I can't ever get over it LOL, love the arg so far it's been a fantastic way to blow off steam from my exams!

Yes I am!! I’m so happy that there’s inside jokes already. One of my biggest dreams as a writer is for people to find community around my stories! So even something as small as a joke that just goes ‘hoeeeeee’ makes me so so happy. And I’m glad you’re enjoying it!! It definitely helped me relax from my finals as well!
