(ooc: I hereby interrupt the stream of answers with a random lazy drawing of one of the most canon pairings that never happened in digimon history. Long sentence is long.

Just wanna take a break from answering asks a bit and draw+colour something— and Takari just happened to be that something.

Random fact. Despite the epilogue sinking my ship, I’m actually okay with it. I like to work my way around the epilogue and develop different headcanons on how each child grew up becoming someone we did not expect them to be when they are children and teenagers. So far, I’ve been able to come up with logical headcanons for everyone, except Yamato. I still can’t goddamn figure out how the heck he ended up becoming an astronaut. I can reason with myself how Mimi decided to become a nutritionist, why Taichi became a diplomat; but Yamato— it’s just so ridiculous.

Anyway, back on Takari. I’d like to share my opinions and all, but tired as I am now, I’m unable to string together a coherent enough answer. I personally see Takari as more of a one sided relationship on Takeru’s part. In which Takeru sees Hikari as more than a friend but Hikari views their relationship in a platonic manner (but I can see them in a shippy manner too). There’s this Takari site that shares similar views of the pairing as I do; and it does some really thorough analysis of not just their relationships with each other, but with the people surrounding them, and the characters themselves as well. It’s really well written, and provides evidence and constructive arguments of how Takari works, mentioning both the pros and cons of their relationship. If you don’t mind reading something wordy, I suggest you give it a shot. (seriously not coherent right now, if I made any grammatical errors, forgive me><) (I’m a sucker for character analysis, so I really enjoyed reading it)

It’s a digimon rp that has the characters’ personalities like a mix between saban’s and original japanese versions, and goes by canon. It’s real funny sometimes, and I’ve been lurking around now and then to see if there are updates for I think 2 years now, still lovin’ it. there are some ocs inside but I personally grew to quite like them as well (some of their convos are hilarious). And they really made an effort to make the whole rp seem very real (like putting in effort in the settings, the places they live in, events etc). If by any chance any of the rpers in megabyte village sees this as well. Seriously, you guys are the best=w=bbb Not only is the rp of top notch standard(both in character and with a good grasp of language skills), but you guys have been consistently rping and updating for years. I really enjoyed reading the entries (though I wish more entries could be open to public)=w= (I would formulate a better compliment but my brain’s really shutting down on me orz.)

I can’t even remember what else I’m going to say, orz good night=w=;;)

(ooc: nope no update today, despite it being sunday. I think I just got my sleep schedule seriously messed up after waking up at 530am (even though I went to bed at 3am), going back to sleep at 10am, before proceeding to wake up at almost 5pm<_< Feeling sick ever since I woke up, so hardly did anything>< Seems like my antibiotics backfired on me, and I’m starting to cough pretty badly again. 

Well I was trying to answer a Miyako and Hikari question, had the idea for a while now— though being really out of it nothing looks right to me orz. And I just can’t draw Hikari right (either that or I’m just really picky when I draw her because she’s my favourite character, or because I’m outta practice.) 

Damn I feel that I wasted today>< Anyway, have a Hikari doodle, man I haven’t drawn her as much ever since I started this blog— And I use to draw Hikari on a almost daily basis. Not that I’m complaining though, I’ve gotten the chance to draw so many characters I’ve never attempted before since starting the blog, and I think it’s a very fun and new experience for me. Though I think I’m starting to get a little rusty when it comes to drawing my favourite digi-girl<w<;; doing a few doodles to get used to drawing her again. So random drawing ahoy~

That’s some long post for just one sketch.)
