One of my fantasy characters, the noble knight Arengeir! The one who slayed Yersinia, Wyrm of Pestillence, becoming the savior of Nethrin’s diseased and dying people.

He isn’t exactly a human, or a physical being at all for that matter: the inside of his armor is hollow. In a sense, he IS the armor. There is no dashing man’s face under the helm, no body of flesh and blood. Despite being an ethereal being, Arengeir’s behavior is the same as any other human’s, save for the fact that he doesn’t need to eat or drink. Being out in the sun for a few hours gives him all the energy he needs to animate his suit of armor. He is a skilled swordsman and his weapon of choice is the mighty claymore. His personality is motivated, curiouz and highly optimistic, preferring to think of what could go right rather than wrong. Arengeir is always up to help those in need, for he sees it as his duty in return for his lack of corporeal burdens and very long lifespan. He’s a bit on the short side for a warrior, but that certainly doesn’t hold him back from anything.

So he’s essentially a solar powered knight ☀️
