The traveller was wearing a burgundy cloak today. He looked at Din through the window, leaning on the sill with a smile. “A beautiful morning to ride.” he said in lieu of a greeting “Don’t you think?” Din stopped his work, but without moving his head. With the corner of his eye, he saw that Grogu also had stopped his play. Even the fire in the fireplace seemed to be extra quiet. “It’s the middle of winter.” he replied cautiously “It’s never a good day to ride.” With a chuckle, the stranger rested his cheek in his right gloved hand on the windowsill. “I thought people like you liked a challenge.” With a frown, Din turned to him. “People like me?” “Yes… You know,” his smile turned into a knowing smirk “huntsmen.” “And people like you should mind their own business, traveller.” The traveller's eyes gleamed an eerie green in amusement. His smile was still friendly, his posture unassuming. “I guess I just like your company, Mando." OR Dark Fantasy AU Din Djarin, a disgraced Mandalorian knight, is in hiding to protect a changeling child. It all changes when a stranger arrives in the village on his way to visit an uncle.

After a few spins around the galaxy, the Falcon had finally carried Luke all the way back to Tatooine.

A second chance, the Force was telling him. He just wasn’t sure what for.

While everyone else had departed in preparation for Han’s rescue mission, Luke had lingered on the ship as if staying aboard the Falcon would prevent him from feeling the weight of being back on Tatooine.
