everyone talks about nanami fathering yuji but what about ino? i NEED more info about them, how did their first interaction go? what did nanami do to inspire ino so much? what was their first mission together like? did nanami promise to give ino his watch someday if he did well in the jujutsu world? how did ino react to nanami’s death? was ino a bit blindsided when higuruma was introduced because he got reminded of nanami? I NEED ANSWERS

i saw a post about how modern tv suffers from the death of filler and it got me thinking about how it's exactly one of the problems i have with jjk: we didn't spend enough time with the characters.

and don't get me wrong, i love them all, but i would have just liked to see more of them interacting besides when they're fighting for their lives, because there ARE tidbits of it and they're so good and they also enhance the story because you get more attached to the characters and the emotional stakes are higher.

the flashback to where yuuji, nobara and megumi mess up gojo's shirt? hilarious, and it makes the scene of nobara's death even more heartbreaking. the part after yuuji is presumed dead, and the room goes dead silent when megumi mentions yuuji taught him how to cook the food they were eating? imagine how much harder that would have hit if we actually saw it.

i want more! i want to see megumi being forced to give nobara and yuuji a tour of tokyo, i want to see them making a mess in the kitchen while attempting to cook something, i want to see hakari and kirara being bad influences on their underclassmen, i want to see choso and yuuji bonding via usual siblings shanenigans, i want to see gojo convincing inumaki to use his cursed technique to pull a stupid prank on nanami, i! want! more!

thinking about hand me down culture in camp half-blood. how are the year-rounders getting new clothes, they only seem to have camp-related tshirts in the store. where are the pants pajamas socks underwear. what does getting clothes passed down from your older siblings look like when your older siblings are an unbroken line going back 4000 years. everyone is just passing around the same 9 pairs of jeans from 1963. it is vital to have campers who go home for the school year because that's the only way new clothes can enter the ecosystem. at any given moment there is a new camper wearing a waterland tshirt.

i'm a very homely person that gets homesick so easily so i'm projecting

imagine the first night yuji spent at jujutsu tech. he's just been introduced to the fact that horrifying creatures run around everywhere that only certain people can see, he watched his school friends almost die, his last living family member died (leaving him to sort out all of the legal details and documents as just a fifteen year old boy), the most powerful and evil monster currently 'alive' is trapped inside him and people genuinelywant to kill him over it, and worst of all he can never go back home.

everyone else around him is already used to this life, already know the school and its rooms, already know eachother. they weren't going to a regular middle school just yesterday not knowing it'd be the last time.

gojo says his sentence has been suspended, but what if? what's stopping someone from sneaking into his room while he sleeps? will he wake up again tomorrow forced to face his new reality alone? will he wake up tomorrow?

imagine him laying there, silent, curled up in bed. staring up at the ceiling with all these thoughts in his head. does sukuna join in with them? is he kind?
