Whoops
Boy, it sure has been a while since an update, huh? That’s on me for not allowing my coworkers access to this blog to help keep it updated. Anywho!
GOOD NEWS:
Our pachycephalosaurs(and family) have fit right into the island very well and are getting along well with the other herds.
Dilophoraptor #4 (whom multiple employees are now referring to as Greenclaw) seems to have founded a new pack with a dilophosaurus as his partner and a peculiar mix-match of other species.
Happy (very late) Valentine’s Day! A new Deinocheirus nest has been spotted with the two devoted parents nearby.
BAD NEWS:
A pack of compsognathus must have snuck into our facility at some point, because we found them and our young abamosaurs harassing each other. We were able to contain and relocate most of them away from the complex, though some of the abamosaurs caused injuries to the little dinosaurs that required them to be put down for ethics sake.
More dead acros have been found, two from disease and a third was found stabbed through the ribs by a trike. The remaining three of the species will be taken back to the facility for vaccination and genetic review, as well as beginning attempts to recreate some slightly better versions.
that’s enough bad news for now.
happy camping :)

Another Update!
Man, it sure has been a while, huh?
GOOD NEWS:
We finally captured one of the dilophoraptor hybrids! He unfortunately is missing a leg and is rather aggressive.
Another recent report of the spino-Rex duo has confirmed that they are both alive and well!
BAD NEWS:
The dilophosaurus and dilophoraptor escaped. Combined they injured six men, envenomating two; and injured our beloved abamosaur, Joanna.
There was another aggressive animal attack on one of our field expeditions; an exceptionally large and aggressive female carnotaurus ravaged a camp and severely wounded an abamosaur. (Now putting her on the shoot on sight list, this being her seventh attack, and third with major injuries.)
Anyways! Hopefully that wasn’t too grim, we’ve got people studying the footage to try and understand any underlying behavioral issues in our wild assets.

personal opinion, you’d should let nature decide what species live, your goal is to bring back extinct life, not dictate if said extinct life is able to integrate into that ecosystem.
That is an excellent point, as well as a system that we typically try to abide by, however we do try our best to keep as many assets healthy as possible. and of course we have the constant issue of species living within fifty miles of each other who would have never been closer than fifty million years apart. Our Irritator recreations have already gone extinct(again) due to disease and conflict.
anyways, we appreciate you sharing your opinion and we look forward to sharing more news!(we’ve been a little… preoccupied…)

Is the project going well? Also how well are my favs the t-rexes doing? Also any naturally born hybrids? I’m just really really curious.
it is going very well, almost all of our fifty species are still alive!
The t rexes are thriving with interconnected packs. and yes! We have a surprising amount of hybrids born on our island. We think this is due to the amount of replacement dna that many of our species share. we have so far documented:
•four dilophosaurus-utahraptor hybrids(all siblings)
• two spinosaurus-baryonyx hybrids(both deceased)
•one baryonyx-irritator hybrid(also deceased unfortunately)
• three dilploducus and apatosaurus hybrids
We’re still studying interspecies interactions to understand how any of this even happened. (Particularly baffled by the dilo-Utah hybrids!!)
Thank you for the ask, everyone at the DRP appreciates it!
#dinosaur resuscitation project rp#dinosaurs#yeah all but two individuals of our spinosaurids are dead :(#and it’s especially hard to get to the dilo-utah hybrids#we originally thought there were only three but apparently there was also a fourth#who had been separated from his other pack#they live in the dilo pack#So they’re very protected#And the fourth one#Is a grouchy sunuvagun

Putting your dromaeosaur in a Snood is a great way to keep them warm in winter AND keep calm during firework displays or thunderstorms!!***
*** we take no responsibility for any injuries sustained while trying to put a dromaeosaur in a Snood
#wow!#these sure are adorable#unfortunately as of present time all of our dromeosaurs are feral :(#but we did do this when we first made#Deltaraptor protoii#And the babies were overwhelmed by the noises#Good times#we should get back to making raptors that actually existed#not our iconic melting pot animals#//me roleplaying in the notes lol

NEW YEARS NEWS UPDATE!
Happy new years, it’s 2024!
Good News:
One of our field teams spotted the last Spinosaurus traveling with a Tyrannosaurus rex, southward away from their territory.
Another field team reported a new batch of eggs from the triceratops, so hopefully they make a comeback!
The last Baryonyx also appears to have made itself home with a dilophosaurus pack, alongside a runaway Abamosaurus.
Bad News:
Upon confronting the Spinosaurus and T. Rex duo to put trackers on them, the field team accidentally chased them off, unable to put on trackers that would have been vital to tracking the unique duo.
Another dead Acrocanthosaurus has been found, dead from disease and putting them even closer to total extinction.

NEW SPECIES UPDATE:
Mark the date; today we have officially released our pachycepholosaurs, micropachycepholosaurs, and stygimoloch herds onto the island!
GOOD NEWS:
We have video and eyewitness reports of a single spinosaurus and baryonyx roaming the island! They sure are troopers!
BAD NEWS:
We’re down to just eight acrocanthosaurines left, let’s cross our fingers and hope that they pull through this recent viral outbreak! 🤞
#dinosaur resuscitation project rp#unreality#not fr guys#don’t worry about the spinosaurids#we’re currently working on a newer variant#that should survive much better#and hopefully not get massacred by the tyrannosaurs this time#dinosaurs#spinosaurus#baryonyx#spinosaurids#pachycephalosaurus#micropachycephalosaurus#stygimoloch#acrocanthosaurus
