In anticipation of dirtybird’s 100th release “Urban Animal,” Claude VonStroke finds himself back in Detroit trying to explain bits and pieces of his new album while visiting with his parents, interviewing street poets and Dj-ing at the historic Fillmore Theatre.  

Long time friend and acclaimed director, Anthony Garth, explores the psyche of the dirtybird Records founder by taking us through the paradoxes and pleasures of Urban Animal’s cut and paste paradigm.  

This unique narrative is inspired by one of 2013’s most highly anticipated albums created by one of electronic music’s most decorated contributors. Essential viewing, especially if you’ve ever wanted to know what Mr & Mrs VonStroke senior look like or, for that matter, wanted to see Claude VonStroke take a pee…

Urban Animal is dirtybird’s 100th release, and will be available on digital, CD and vinyl from September 24th. Watch out for the world tour commencing October 4th.
