About us...

About a year and a half ago I was beside myself. I didn’t think I was ever going to find anyone or feel happiness again, until I met andy.

Bit of a back story. I was very depressed and thought my world was going to end after a nasty breakup. I was with my ex for almost 6 years when he left. Long story short he wanted a break, we didn’t speak for a month and then begged for me back. 2 weeks later after booking an overseas trip in that time he told me he didn’t love me and left. I was beside myself. I have never felt that much pain or grief. I thought I was going to be alone forever and I would never find anyone. I spent about a year on and off tinder. Met some people lots of ups and downs just adding to the emotional roller coaster. Until I met andy. That night after a long shift at work I was tired and grumpy and didn’t want to go meet this random dude who would probably just see me a couple of times then leave. I was wrong. So so wrong. I am so happy I made myself go. We met at a kebab place near my work. Had some dinner and kept in touch. A week later we were pretty much inseparable.

Fast forward to now a year and a half later. We have been to a lot of places. I have rekindled my love for camping and have grown to love 4wd.

Andy had a Land Rover discovery 1 v8 1995 pretty standard nothing special. Our first day out was mount disappointment and I fell in love. Fast forward now. We have decked her out. She has a 2 inch body lift 2.5 inch spring lift, flares, draws, fridge, 50L water tank, rooftop tent, massive all terrain tyres, 95L fridge, bbq and lots more. We’ve taken this car to Uluru and many many camping trips.

In this time we’ve also bought a Land Rover discovery 2 TD5.

This will be a blog about all the places we go the things we do. I hope you all enjoy.
