Bare Essentials: How Naturism Helped Me
Let’s get one thing straight, I didn’t become a naturist because I hate laundry… but I won’t pretend it wasn’t a bonus. Save on bills and washing, no need for a big wardrobe.
I always felt better not wearing clothes. Naturism the way many find it, slightly nervous, and wondering if I was about to join some secret society of sun-seekers and minimalist fashionistas.
What I actually found was a surprisingly wholesome world where people weren’t interested in how you looked, what you're earinge, or whether your socks are green (spoiler alert: there are no socks).
Naturism isn’t about flaunting it. It’s the art of being fully yourself, minus the layers, the zippers, and the societal baggage.
Imagine waking up, stepping outside, and realizing you’re already dressed for the occasion. There’s a quiet magic in feeling the breeze on parts of you that normally only see the lighting of day.
It’s empowering. Refreshing, especially on a hot day when your clothes but don't for get the sun-cream. Naturism saved me from sweaty days and also taught me to be more relax about my body.
When everyone’s nude, nobody’s judging. Sure, I’ve had to explain myself to a few raised eyebrows. Some folks still think naturism is code for something scandalous. But the truth is, it’s one of the most respectful, grounded, and oddly practical communities I’ve ever found. No pretension, no pretense—just people being people, as nature intended.
We all bath and shower without our clothes!
