Super Mario Galaxy utilizes three levels of detail for models of NPCs that are loaded depending on their distance from the camera (but not for Mario himself or for enemies, which are always high-quality, in contrast to e.g. Super Mario 64 where Mario himself was replaced with a low-quality model when far away).

Since both Mario and Luigi are playable characters, but only Luigi appears as an NPC, only Luigi has a low-quality model. While it can be seen in the distance especially in the high-definition Super Mario 3D All-Stars version of the game, it cannot be seen up-close in-game.

8. haven't replayed Tales yet but. Oh boy will I skip all the Saha/Rhys stuff if I can. I love Sasha as a character but those bits of the game really have me just "that should be ME instead"

7. Not really. I have replayed the Handsome Jackpot dlc a couple of times because Timothy is there, and I have replayed Pre-Sequel because he's my main in that game but nothing sticks out other than me just staring at random screenshots of him

10. Pre-sequel... nothing I'd like to change. Yeah sure it has bugs and all but it's a charming buggy. Like Skyrim or Oblivion. Borderlands 3 though.... The writing. a decent chunk of it. not gonna say anything specific because that is a BIG can of worms i don't have the energy to dive into

1. Short Story: Smash bros. Long Story: Also smash bros! So I vaguely knew of Fire Emblem back when I was a kid and playing Brawl but never really had an interest in it? Smash 4 comes along, and I'm playing it like CRAZY, and a friend notices Lucina was my main at the time, and he suggested I play the game she's from. I play the demo, he then lends me his copy of the game. BOOM now I'm into Fire Emblem

4. Funnily enough, builds off the last one sort of. Lucina was the favorite until I found out about Chrom. So he kinda was the favorite from the start but not really? Lucina was the favorite before I played Awakening, Chrom was the favorite when I finally started playing it

OOOOOOUUUUGHHHH im not gonna completely autism blast about this one like I usually do but This particular cutscene from Chapter 13 of Awakening Everything about this scene in particular just DESTROYS me in all the best ways possible. Saying that Lucina deserved better from him, him wiping away her tears, the way he hugs her? GOD it just gets me, it shows how sweet he is and is doing his absolute best to be a good dad

9. oooh... tricky one. he has been in games other than Awakening, but his role in Fates was very minor, but then I haven't touched Fire Emblem Warriors or Engage yet. Not a fan of his models in Engage and Warriors so I'm gonna have to stick with his good ol Awakening self as my favorite. And lets just ignore him being one of my smash bros mains since that isn't a super significant thing ghjcjhgfd

13. Refer back to 7: "You deserved better from me than one sword and a world of troubles." Ever since I first played Awakening in 2016 it's just, really stuck with me despite the mildly depressing context.

augh. sorry for like all the mildly venty posts when I do post here I've just been dealing with a lot and some recent stuff came up and just made me feel like. really guilty and gross about being a selfshipper, I'll try posting about Chrom soon to offset that but I'm just. not having a good time and am kinda scared about opening up about the character I'm the most fixated on right now.
