Ryley couldn't believe what he was doing, he was going back to the Aurora. He was sure there were supplies he missed on his first journey there, but that'd have been natural considering he was more focused on fixing the radiation leak. Now that most threats were dealt with, the creatures not included, he can go back to the things he may have missed. The former technician took some lantern fruit and a bottle of water to take with him and checked the batteries in his glider, once he was satisfied Ryley set off. He jumped out the bottom of his moonpool and swam to his Seamoth, he stroked the side and smiled as he jumped in. 

‘Welcome aboard, Captain.’ The same robotic dialogue as always but it always brought him comfort. “Thanks, Sandy.��� He replied. 

Being in the Safe Shallows right now, it was a fairly straightforward path to the Aurora and one he was well acquainted with. Despite doing the trip once, it was burned into his mind. Parking Sandy at the edge of the grassy plateau he made the rest of the journey with his handy glider. At first, it went swimmingly, pun not intended, as he hugged the side of the Aurora but then he heard it. And again. 

“Oh no, ohnoohnoohno.” Panic settled deep as he aimed for the entrance and just made it in time before he became fish food. With everything he’d been through, he thought a Reaper would be nothing by now but no, still as terrifying as always. He sighed in relief and sat on the ship, making sure there were no cave crawlers around, and drank some water. God, he thought he was a goner. 

After a few moments to recuperate, Ryley put the empty bottle away and stood up baring his knife and walking forward into the ship. He sliced a few crawlers on his way inside and kept the knife on him for defense if needed. The man hummed a small tune as he explored the ship once again but it looked a little… different? Less wrecked, he could have sworn there were boxes and wreckage that blocked certain paths when he was first onboard. He began to walk down one of the blocked-off corridors and saw a shadow, there shouldn’t be one like that. Raising his thermal knife he stepped forward, now was no time to be afraid. He can run away later if needed. 

“I will live, I will return to Sandy.” Ryley muttered reassurance to himself as he walked farther forward but froze soon after seeing something he never thought he would on this planet. A human. Ryley dropped the knife in shock as he took in the sight, “N-no, you can’t be… Wait wait wait. I’m seeing things, I have to be. You weren’t here before. I looked everywhere. There was no one.” He pointed to the other person, reaching back for his knife.

“You seem to know a lot about travel, when I was a kid you’re someone I wanted to be. Traveling to lots of planets and experiencing other races and cultures. The Aurora was what I thought was a way out but now look at me 1 Trillion credits in debt.” The man laughed despite his situation. It was almost laughable the more he thought about it, he spent a long time down there, despite his low status on the ship he could steer a Cyclops on his own when that would usually need three people and he even survived going into the ecological dead zone. Sure that one was for a small amount of time when he went there by accident, thinking it was just the grand reef but he still survived seeing the adult ghost leviathans. 

“I’m enjoying Earth for what it’s worth. Less dangers in the sea for one and I got a decent job as a Marine Biologist, thought it would be up there in things I’m qualified for.” They didn’t pay credits, sure, but he was paid well and with his house being underwater that he built Ryley didn’t need to pay rent. He covered his own water and food as well, with what he learnt on 4546B and with some leftover lantern fruit seeds and catching fish. The materializer was a massive help on the water planet and a massive help here. So the leftover money was good for buying things he wanted for a change. Nothing to survive from and while they were things he didn’t need but they made him happy.

“How about you? I can imagine you’re having a bit more of a difficult time than me looking like that. Humans are weird when it comes to alien stuff, they’re obsessed even if they don’t have anywhere near the technology to go to habitable planets. I’m just lucky I look like a human.” That was another reason he loved Earth, it was so far away from other planets with lifeforms on it and out of Alterria’s reach, they likely wouldn’t want anything to do with this planet anyway with how humans were treating it and already mined most of its resources. While he may look human, he is Alterrian, this was just a lucky coincidence but not surprising since with how many planets there were there was a high chance of species looking the same. How humans viewed aliens also confused him. Green beings with elongated heads who live in tiny saucers? How did they get that idea?

General:

I’m AU, OC, crossover and multi-verse friendly and I’m open to many plot ideas. I’m happy if you DM me with any idea you have. I am Semi-Selective and we don’t have to be mutuals to interact. However, what I do look for in blogs is if the Mun is 18+ while there won’t be smut on here but there will be other adult related topics such as alcohol, smoking, gore etc. Also you should have a rules page and there will have to be some way our muses can interact. Nothing against if you don’t though! It’s just a preference.

NSFW - While I am of age, 21+, I won’t be going into any smut related topics on the blog as it makes me feel uncomfortable. I will however go into triggering content from time to time which I will be sure to tag where I can. If I miss one, let me know!

No godmodding - this should go without saying but I’m putting it here anyway just in case. Doing this and making my character do things on your accord takes all the fun out of it! So please, don’t do this!

Give me time to reply - I try to reply as soon as I can. But if I don’t reply in a few days then I most likely need a break. If I reply to others and not you, then it means either I need a break from that thread or I haven’t got ideas for the time being. But I will always get around to it. Give me a week and then you can ping me a notification to drop me a reminder. It might usually take to a month or longer at times due to my motivation and uni work getting in the way but I will never drop anything without warning. If you continue to pester me for replies, I will softblock you.

IMs - never be afraid to hit me with a plot thread or just to talk OOC. I’m always for it, I’ll try to get to you as soon as but I may not always available so keep that in mind.

Reblogging - Please don't reblog things from me unless you're a mutual. If you're involved with a thread you can reblog that thread and you can reblog ask memes from me if we're mutuals. I don't expect reblog karma but I would appreciate if you didn't constantly reblog memes from me without sending something in. No pressure if you didn't want to of course.

Dropping threads - It’s fine if you want to. I get it if you do but PLEASE tell me. I’m fine if you want to drop something, I get it but I’m a very nervous bean when it comes to asking about threads and will wait months before poking you, so please tell me if you dropped it or not or I will be nervous to approach you for that thread when we can go and do other things and it can take it off my mind.

Crossovers - Adding this to reassure people that I LOVE crossovers. If I feel comfortable with the fandom you’re in, I’m all for doing a crossover if I can find a way how to do it!

Spoilers - This blog will contain spoilers due to the use of canon characters and use of lore inside the media for their development.

Drama - I’m not getting involved in any drama, this blog is hate free and I won’t be made to pick a side. I want to keep this a safe space not only for myself but for others as well. This is a place I want to spread positivity and have fun with others, so please keep in mind that I don’t want to be involved in it.

Shipping - I am open to shipping but I would prefer discussion beforehand before we ship anyone. I like to develop ships in an rp or ooc but I still want the communication for the ship to happen. 

OCs:

I am OC friendly but I do like to see a bio of your character before roleplaying with them. This is so I can see how they are and how I can work around this. It helps me figure out how I can integrate my muse into the situation but also determine if your muse is fit to roleplay with mine. As some things can clash too much. In a bio, I am not picky about what is in it as long as it has their personality and their backstory in detail.

There may also be triggering things on my blog. I will do my best to tag them or put it under a ‘read more’ if I feel it could be badly triggering.
