Can’t say I fault ya; some people find clowns really creepy.” It was hard not to have heard of the Joker when you live the lifestyle Lilian does, and even if you didn’t. Still, she’d never met him in person, before, so she was a bit surprised to see that he clearly went full-on into the persona. “I bet it gets plenty of people to underestimate you, too, huh?”
His right arm flourished out to the side, before bending in and his palm placed against his own chest. Joker bowed, as though closing out for a staged-show and the crowd was applauding him. “Why! Clowns are all the rage!” A laugh left him then: sudden, shrill.
Quick, the laugh faded, and his eyebrow lifted, a tight grin rose to Joker’s jaw as she mentioned him being underestimated.
Well! That was an insult, if he’d ever heard one.
Joker reached over, and gripped her jaw; tightly, his fingers pressing into bone, and he jerked her face back and forth. His words sounded amused, slightly degrading,
“Aren’t you sweet for noticing!”
