Yeah, I'm so glad I came to tumblr. How I missed such content about my beloved poor psycho in other social networks...

Where the hell is the "protective Konrad Curze" content in this fandom? Wheter you want the reader to be dominant or submissive it makes sense that a primarch would protect them and Konrad is surrounded by so much shit, including his legion who would likely hurt them. Not to mention the Nightlords canonically being body guards and Konrads identity going from danger to a source of safety? There's so much you could do with this! And if we're going with protective Curze there is no way in hell he hasn't at some point recreated that one scene from beauty and the beast of the beast protecting Belle from the wolves.

Now I actually misremebered this scene as the beast being pressed much closer against her body rather than there being this big gap between them (maybe that was too suggestive for disney). But COME ON. There's your ticket for sexual tension. (Whether the relationship is open or they're still denying their feelings). Konrads beloved being knocked on their back or stomach on the floor/ground, with a big, strong Konrad pressed flush against them, shielding them with his own body (because that might be the only way he knows how to protect) and snarling at the nearby night lords/chaos cultists/whoever the enemy is. That's hot! Of course if his beloved is on their back their hands are rather sensually placed on his chest....

i love the primarch relationships and often wonder what it would have been like had they grown up together on Terra... here's the idea; they get split, then found, then split. they spend two years together before getting split (any longer than that will mess up the continuity, I'm quite strict, lmao). unlucky ones like II and XI and Angron just never got found (because I feel like finding Angron messes up the continuity too) and poor unlucky Morty got found last so he only had 1 year before they split again. womp, womp :(

i tried to keep their planet's ecosystem in mind when I designed them but damn... that was very hard.

Rogue Trader Character Building Questions

With the DLC approaching, I thought I would put together a list of 25 OC building questions to ask yourself or have others ask you! Mainly just background stuff, not much in the way of in-game choices, but I hope they can maybe inspire someone or help shift the ol' writer's block if applicable 🧭

BACKGROUND:

1. Where are they from? What is their homeworld like? Do they miss it? 2. What is their Origin? Who were they before they became a Rogue Trader? 3. Do they have a good relationship with their family? Who were they closest to growing up? 4. What does their name mean? Is it significant? 5. Describe a memory from childhood they think of fondly.

CHARACTER & CONVICTIONS:

6. What is their Conviction? How adherent are they to it? Does it change at all over the course of the game? 7. Was there a defining moment in their life that influenced their Conviction? 8. What was their Triumph? Do they take pride in it? 9. What was their Darkest Hour? How does it affect them today? 10. How do they feel about becoming a Rogue Trader? How easily do they take to being the head of the von Valancius dynasty?

RELATIONSHIPS:

11. Who amongst their retinue are they closest to? 12. Who amongst their retinue do they clash with the most? 13. Are they romantically involved with anyone? Do they wish to be? 14. Who was the most important person in their life prior to becoming a Rogue Trader? Is that person still in their life now? 15. How do they feel towards Theodora? Had they met before? Were they close?

SKILLS & EXPERTISE:

16. What is their Archetype? 17. What are their strengths in combat? What are their weaknesses? 18. How do they approach conflict? Do they tackle problems head-on, or is coercion favourable to them? 19. Which three skills are of the most value to them? 20. Do they have a talent or hobby that would surprise others?

APPEARANCE & PERSONALITY:

21. Do they have any notable markings? Scars, birthmarks, tattoos, etc.? 22. Do they have any augmentations? Were these installed out of necessity, or as a cosmetic choice? 23. How do they hold themselves? Is the persona they show the world different to who they truly are? Who is privy to the ‘real’ them? 24. Do they place value in how their protectorate sees them? Does this sway their decisions at all? 25. Wildcard: Share a fun fact, random thought, or headcanon about them!
