Between moving around to sniff out cheaper rent, moving back home, and now my wife traveling for work I've lived all over the place. Currently we're living out in the middle of bumfuck NO WHERE. Truly a spattering of nothing towns of various sizes, semi clogged mountains, chemical factories and trump signs hung off broken tractors. One person owns half the highway we live off of.

But you know what there are none of? A single cop. No speed traps on the way to the only walmart where the speed limit drops. Any pigs skulking around the hospital? Nope! Harassing kids at the mall or arresting them for loitering in downtown areas? Will any skitter and crawl out when you go to the post office? Not a one. Not even a cop car!
