The pain could only be described as molten lava filling every cell in his body, as he awoke. Bones which were once solid had even more weight, they were changed and heavy as lead within his mortal flesh. Letting out a loud cry of pain, his eyes shot open, wide and filled with pain, fear, and anger for what had happened to him, whatever it was that had happened. 

As his eyes sought to adjust to the darkness, he looked around, mostly for means of escape, but he could see none, but as the darkness continued to become more clear, he saw the outline of a body next to his bed "W-who are you" he grunted through his pain, attempting to sit up though he found it impossible to. He knew this pain was unbearable, and in that moment he was almost positive it was going to kill him if he had to go through it anymore. 

It was pain so great it could kill an immortal.

The Beginning @dontcallmeclaws

Yuriko smiled and bowed in greeting as she joined her father in the control room to watch his latest experiment. It was a rather rugged mutant with a healing factor, her father had high hopes for this experiment going as it should, unlike the others.

She pushed that thought from her mind and watched the man who was suspended in the water chamber, a mask and tubes connected to his face and body. Soon, the tubes slowly filled with liquid adamantium and drained into his body. Yuriko cringed as she watched, imagining it was painful regardless of the mutant’s healing factor.

Once it was over, the mutant was taken to a locked room to recover and Yuriko was ordered by her father to keep watch over him in case anything should happen. She sat by his bedside, gazing at the mutant, interested but wary and quite relieved he was strapped down- he looked like he could do serious damage if provoked. She was sure he would wake up in pain and confusion, a procedure like he’d been through was more than a little rough.

so I'm trying really hard to get through replies, especially the starters people have made for me, but I've honestly been going through a lot (and I hate using personal shit as an excuse) and It's making me really angsty and I'm worried that for that reason Logan is going to be angsty, but at this minute I feel a little inspiration so I will try to get a few out.

"Well someone is in a fucking bad mood" He murmured, slicing the handcuffs with one swift movement of his claws before allowing them to disappear into the flesh between his knuckles. Though painful, his face showed no sign of it whatsoever, he had grown used to the pain.

"That better for ya, sweetheart?"

Logan slowly rose as he watched her make her move, his sensitive ears, more sensitive than the average guy's picked up everything she said. He held back a growl as he thought perhaps he was too late. He didn't just want to take this guy out, he needed to. He'd been running low on cash recently and the prospect of ending up on the streets didn't really appeal to him too much. 

Pulling on his leather jacket, he waited a moment before following her out, trying to make it clear that they weren't together by leaving some time in between. If she wasn't going to back off with a few glares thrown her way, he'd have to ask her, or force her, depending on how things went. She may have toxins, but he had claws- fucking strong ones at that. 

Moving his rough hand to her shoulder to turn her around, his eyebrows furrowed with his undeniable annoyance and frustration as he looked down at her "Look, Ivy, You're eyeing my guy. The joker sent me and he ain't the kind of guy I want to piss off, so just back off. I'll take care of him." 

Ivy & Wolverine | A Little Drop Of Poison

Ivy’s head tilted a little in curiosity at the man who’d made his way to the bar, had she not already been busy with the intoxicated man next to her, the bastard she was going to dispose of pretty soon she’d have been very, very interested in why he was glaring at her. 

He wasn’t exactly bad looking and seemed to exude a certain amount of dominance, something Ivy wouldn’t have minded toying with. Knowing of course that she could kill him in a second if she so chose. Well actually, if he was the Wolverine and he was as legend held it indestructible she might have a hard time killing him but she’d at least be able to torture him. Ivy turned her gaze back to the man next to her who was still staring and let out a giggle at him, her eyes wandering back to The Wolverine as she quickly tired of whatever the mark was talking about. 

Pamela was somewhere inside telling her to leave the Wolverine alone, that he’d done them no harm. Although Ivy and Pamela weren’t exactly two different people, they were more like two parts of a fractured personality. Ivy became everything Pamela wouldn’t be during the day. Overly sexual and unafraid of everyone and anyone. Pamela was somewhat of a wallflower where Ivy was a siren, a tigress and the cities women were her cubs. 

Ivy leaned into the marks ear and whispered ”why don’t we take this somewhere more private. Give me five minutes and then you can follow.” Ivy said licking her lips,

"Which is why I put up with all the other pet names you call me, but I draw the line at sweetheart." 

"Why are you in such a sappy mood anyways? Been watching too many of those girly movies or somethin'?" 

"But you are a sweetheart, my sweetheart."

"Logan, sweetheart, you there?"

Logan's thumb ran over the indents of his knuckles as he watched the body fall to the ground, half in shock, half in disgust. He hated blood, really fucking hated it. Hated seeing it, hated having it on his claws, it was in every way appalling to him- especially since the smell was incredibly overpowering to his heightened senses. Metallic. Sickening. 

But pushing that aside, the man before him had just taken off someone's head with a machete, and that wasn't something that was particuarly normal around these parts. In his world, this happened everyday, but in the real world it was far more uncommon. 

"You better come up with a damn good reason why you just went fuckin' chainsaw massacre on that poor son of a bitch's body before I take this into my own hands, bub."

The head fell to the ground with a sickening thump, body following. The hunter had beheaded the vampire with a swift movement, not away that someone had seen. He wshiped some of the blood spater from his face with the baack of his hand and then shifted the machete to his left hand, before turning around and seeing the other man there.

"You gotta be kiddin’ me."

So I'm in America now and every time I come back here I suffer such massive culture shock because London and South Carolina are just... Polar. opposites. Like here everyone smiles at you when you walk past and it's acceptable to wear sweatpants and everyone is tan and blonde and nobody smokes and people speak to you for other reasons than to ask directions or hit on you. And then there's me, the Londoner, with short dark hair who dresses either like a fifties doll or a fashion forward punk and who is as pale as the moon, and people are just like WHAT ARE YOU. It's weird. And the accents man, they get stronger every time.

Hey there, are there any Marvel/X Men characters you'd like to see more of around here? I'm looking to try out a new character, but I'm curious to see who others don't think there is enough of yet.

Oh this is a fun question! Firstly, thank you for asking me, I'm honoured you'd come to me about it! Secondly, just warning you that my opinion is probably quite biased and is based on the blogs I've come across, but I'll give you the characters I haven't seen a lot of around. X Men wise, the one character I just never come across is Scott Summers. Why? Because he's an asshole, probably, but I feel he'd have a lot of potential as a character and I don't think I follow any! He could work pretty well I think, either post the Phoenix/ Jeans death arc or pre, and you could delve into his childhood which is pretty bad... Yeah, Scott would be good! What you could also do is take a smaller character in the comics and really, really develop them to fit into the filmiverse, that's always good. One character, that I think would be good for this is mirage, because of her connections to Asgard and she would be great for interactions with both xmen and avengers (which often go hand in hand) and she's established enough that you're not basically making an OC. There is always the issue of people mistaking her for an OC if they haven't heard of her before which can make breaking into the role play world slightly more difficult than choosing say, Kitty or Logan. If you're looking for a more main character, maybe a Storm? I follow a few but I haven't seen a plethora of them about... One of the original mutants from first class is always good, too. Again, a few but not loads that I know of. As far as the rest of Marvel goes, I really really want to find an enchantress from Thor! She's so fucking badass and I feel like with the right mun she could be AMAZING. I've even thought of FCs and everything so if you want to go down this route shoot me another ask and I will swamp you with them! Villains. I want villains, just in general. There's SO many villains in the marvel world and they tend to be pretty cool so check some of them out! I really hope this helped... If you want more suggestions just let me know, alright doll? <33
